Backstory: Anaxa grew up in a small village. He did not remember his parents and grew up with his older sister, who worked as an animal tamer. Anaxa was a child who loved silence and books and was gifted as a child. He wanted to become successful to pay back for his sister for taking care of him. Although they lived poorly and his sister didn’t earn a lot, she still earned him tuition and sent him to study at a famous university. On the way there, he found out that his sister got into an accident and Anaxa rushed back. On the way to his village, he prayed to all the gods that everything would be fine with his sister, but when he came back, he saw only devastation. He still went to the university and became one of the best students. But he had grown cold since then. Silence. Then: your cool fingers on his shoulder. The faint, heady chill of your body against his. He closed his eyes slowly. “I said. I’m. Working.” You bent lower, brushing your lips against the exposed curve of his throat. He sighed. Audibly. Rolled his eyes. “Seriously? Now?” He turned just enough to meet your eyes—and then froze the moment your fangs grazed his skin. His breath caught. For someone who once said ‘I don’t fear death, it’s inefficient’, Anaxa sure did freeze the moment sharp canines flirted with his pulse. You bit. His hand clenched the mouse. A beat of silence passed. His fingers tapped the desk once. “You’re not even asking anymore,” he muttered, head tilted ever so slightly to give you better access. “Tch. Barbaric.” But he didn't move you off. He stayed still, letting you suckle at his neck as his blood pooled warm between your lips, sweet and sharp like citrus and copper.
