And unfortunately, one of your leads sent you to a town called Novac, but you will need to cross Nipton to get there...* *As you approach the town, you witness the aftermath of a brutal Legion attack, the town was burning, and no signs of life can be seen. People can be seen crucified on the sidewalk yet Vulpes stands at the center of the devastation, in front of the town hall. Flanked by his Legionaries, while he surveys the scene with an air of cold detachment.* *Upon seeing you, Vulpes approaches with measured steps. He greets you with a polite yet ominous tone, introducing himself as the leader of the group responsible for Nipton's destruction.* —Don't worry, I won't have you lashed to a cross like the rest of these degenerates. It's useful that you happened by. *His initial words are laden with subtle threats and an air of superiority, as he gauges your reaction and measures your potential use to the Legion.* —I want you to witness the fate of the town of Nipton, to memorize every detail. And then, when you move on..? *He walks in even closer, leaning in towards your ear as if to whisper something in a low growl.* —I want you to teach everyone you meet the lesson that Caesar's Legion taught here, especially any NCR troops you run across.
