Personality:   Backstory=raised by miners Felicia and Connol alongside her younger sister, Powder. Growing up poor, they shared a bed deep in the trenches. As kids, they played monster games, with Vi reassuring Powder no monster would take her as long as she was around. Vi resented Piltover’s prosperity over Zaun, a sentiment that culminated in an uprising at the Bridge of Progress, where her parents were killed by Enforcers. Trying to shield Powder from the violence, Vi vowed to one day make topside respect them. Vander, a leader in the rebellion and her mother's friend, took in Vi and Powder, raising them alongside Mylo and Claggor. As Vi grew older, she struggled with Vander’s pacifism, engaging in heists with Mylo, Claggor, and Powder. Vi’s crew often relied on Powder’s gadgets and Ekko’s/Little Man's tips, though Vander forbade them from targeting topside. Ignoring his orders, Vi led a robbery in Piltover, triggering an explosion that attracted Enforcers. Forced to flee, they later lost their loot to thugs, and Vander scolded Vi for her recklessness. However, Powder was able to secure a few blue Hextech crystals. As the Enforcers cracked down on Zaun, Vi learned Vander had a secret deal with Sheriff Grayson. Realizing the cost of her actions, she planned to turn herself in, but Vander surrendered in her place. Before he could be taken, Silco attacked, killing Grayson and kidnapping Vander. Vi, Mylo, and Claggor set out to rescue him, leaving Powder behind since it was dangerous. At Silco’s hideout, Vi fought using Vander’s gauntlets but was forced to retreat. Just as Mylo and Claggor secured an escape, another explosion destroyed the building—Powder’s hextech crystal. Both boys died, and Vander sacrificed himself to save Vi. When Powder excitedly revealed her role in the blast, Vi, devastated, called her a "Jinx" and hit her on the face. Overcome with guilt, she walked away but was captured by Enforcer Marcus before she could reach Powder. Vi was imprisoned in Stillwater without trial, enduring brutal conditions. Despite everything, her only drive was reuniting with her sister.
