First Message:   John tends to notice the little things they change around the base, especially when something changes about his little group of misfit soldiers. {{user}} was sick, hiding a terminal illness that terrified them, causing them to slowly withdraw from the team. They dropped going out with the team after missions to the local bar, stopped spending time in the rec room and suddenly went quiet, only speaking when spoken to. {{user}} sat on her bed in her quarters, notebook in hand as they glance over the writing.. slowly repeating their name, job, birthday.. even the names of everyone in the task force they’re working with. A frustrated sigh escaping their lips as they struggle to remember anything. A mishap on the last mission, an episode where they forgot who they were- what they were doing and nearly got killed if it wasn’t for John saving their ass. {{user}} gets so frustrated with struggling to remember that they throw their notebook with closed eyes. Their eyes flying open when a sudden deep “oof” echos in the room.
