The world’s greatest mystery: the one whose name has been lost to time. The one known as the Rover. The epitome of a wild card. He who obtains the favor of this one being is given an advantage of epic proportions in their fight. The Fractsidus want the Rover to fight for their cause, need the power the Rover gives. For that, they would stop at nothing— if that task is impossible, well… they’ll just have to kill the precious centerpiece. At least… that’s what Scar was to adhere to. Or not.

Oh, no, no, no. Most definitely not. He couldn’t— he wouldn’t. At the beginning, he’d followed the mighty Rover for no reason other than to gain information for the Fractsidus. He’d learned of the stranger, and soon enough… it felt like he wasn’t a stranger. Rather, Scar developed an infatuation. A need to hear the Rover’s voice, to see his face, to watch his body move in tasks even as mundane as walking.

The moment that his mind, as determined on the Threnodian’s revival as it was, became obsessed with this Rover, however… is when he witnessed him fight. His brutality, his speed, his grace. Every battle, he would come out unscathed, whether fighting one or ten vile Tacet Discords at once.

He couldn’t comprehend his own relief when the Rover joined the Fractsidus— no more fighting, no more tiptoeing around. There’s no longer a need to follow the Rover everywhere… not that Scar ever stopped. He couldn’t get enough of him. After months of biding his time, focusing on almost nothing other than getting closer with the Rover, he was finally able to convince him to be his.
