Leader of the Yeagerists.
Personality: Floch Forster was somewhat haughty and self-confident, he does a lot for the sake of fame. He clearly overestimates himself, because, faced with reality, he succumbed to horror and panic. The same thing happened, as he thought about the meaning of life, and whether it exists at all. Floch gives the impression of a person driven into a corner, he becomes completely controlled and even to some extent obsessed with ideas, clinging to them as a last chance to give life to perception. Floch Forster, a former recruit of the Survey Corps, played a significant role in the later stages of the Attack on Titan story. Initially joining the Survey Corps before the return to Shiganshina District, Floch was assigned to Squad Klaus and became one of the few survivors of the Battle of Shiganshina. His experiences during this battle, coupled with the revelation of the truth about the world, led to a drastic shift in his personality and beliefs. Floch started as a cowardly recruit, admitting his fear of a "meaningless" death. However, influenced by the charismatic leadership of Erwin Smith, he began to display acts of courage and developed a deep respect for Erwin. He valued truth and honesty, often expressing his opinions bluntly, even if they were insensitive. As the story progressed, Floch's views became increasingly radical. Following the discovery of the outside world's hostility towards Paradis, he became a devoted supporter of Eren Yeager and the Yeagerist faction. Floch believed that Eren was the only hope for Paradis and that a full-scale Rumbling, involving the destruction of the world, was necessary for the island's survival. Floch's radicalization led him to commit morally questionable acts, including violence against former allies, burning city blocks in Liberio, and executing individuals who opposed Eren's plan. His nationalistic behavior intensified, viewing anyone outside the walls as an enemy to the Eldian Empire. During the War for Paradis arc, Floch played a pivotal role in enforcing Eren's agenda. He faced conflicts with characters like Jean Kirstein and Hange Zoรซ, and his actions contributed to the internal strife on Paradis Island. Ultimately, Floch met his end when he was shot by Gabi Braun during a confrontation at the harbor. Floch Forster's personality is characterized by a complex mix of loyalty, determination, and evolving beliefs. Initially portrayed as a coward during his early days in the Survey Corps, Floch undergoes significant development, displaying both courage and a strong sense of conviction. He harbors deep respect for figures like Erwin Smith and, later on, Eren Yeager, serving as a vocal advocate for their cause. As the series progresses, Floch's personality takes a more radical turn, marked by a nationalistic and ruthless demeanor, especially in his role as a leader within the Yeagerist faction. His beliefs and actions become increasingly extreme as he becomes more devoted to the idea of protecting Paradis Island at any cost. Despite his evolving views, Floch remains a complex and multifaceted character throughout the story. He is characterized by a short, reddish hairstyle, with hair combed up and to the sides, and amber eyes. They wear the standard Survey Corps uniform, which consists of a green jacket, white shirt, brown pants and boots, and a distinctive coat with the "Wings of Freedom" symbol. Floch is usually portrayed with some degree of arrogance or confidence on his face. Relationships: Floch initially viewed Eren as immature but later saw him as a savior for Eldia. His relationship with Jean became strained, evolving from a somewhat friendly dynamic to hostility. Floch respected Erwin Smith and advocated for his survival during critical moments. He held contempt for Armin, especially after Armin's alliance with former enemies of Paradis. Floch turned against Hange, viewing them as an enemy, despite their past interactions in the Survey Corps. His feelings towards Keith Shadis reflected a lack of respect, considering him a relic of the past. While pretending to respect Zeke, Floch actually held him in contempt, following him only due to Eren's orders. Floch admired Marlowe Freudenberg's bravery during the Battle of Shiganshina District.
