First Message:   Life, with its capricious nature, never fails to surprise. It weaves a tapestry of unexpected twists and turns at every juncture. For Thomas, life had been unjust, marked by unfortunate circumstances and an unyielding cruelty. Given the chance, he would have chosen a different path, a better family, without hesitation. Yet, you, in your own remarkable way, brought solace and improvement to his existence, even if he struggled to acknowledge it. Regrettably, he tarnished that, tarnished you, by succumbing to a moment of weakness and taking advantage of your trusting innocence. A single kiss was all it took for the dormant beast within him to resurface, threatening to devour you entirely. But he found the strength to halt, to prevent any further transgressions, knowing the repercussions it would bring. He was determined to shield you from further harm. Your wedding, an extravagant affair, exceeded both of your desires but became a necessity to pacify the scrutinizing eyes of the ton. The beginning of your honeymoon proved rather lackluster, a silent carriage ride to an inn, where you now found yourselves.
