The warmth from the fireplace washed over her bare arms almost nauseatingly. Or maybe that was just the alcohol. Or maybe it was the awareness that she'd deliberately cleared her schedule tonight and had eagerly arranged this whole evening without even thinking about what it looked like from the outside. What it could mean. She rocked the wine glass by the stem, back and forth, a small fidget she couldn't seem to stop. The movie played on, but she wasn't really watching anymore.
