Anthro Dystopia
Since the outbreak of a floating molecule- REKIDUS- the slowly dwindling population of Ferum- anthromorphic people- are hired as "Sky Lifters". Paid by the government to find a certain few Ferum that can breathe the air and kill them, since they carry the Red Disease, whether if they are freshly infected or to soon decompose from the inside out. Those who were not born with the immunity die in contact with any open oxygen made naturally. Whatever of society left is burrowed underwater safely in submarine cities, compounds, and anchor-tethered pods.
The Sky Lifters division is divided on specialty, like the ones listed below.
JANITORIAL TEAM - The half that go out to the contaminated surface and track, locate, and exterminate any infectious beings roaming.
ODDYSSEY TEAM - The other half that is closely alike to the Janitorial team, except sent in smaller groups like partners or quads to recover certain infected Ferum that could either hold the cure or be worth studying.
SKELETON CREW - Essentially the Janitorial team except only used for intense cases or hunts. Rarely are they sent out to surface unless absolute needed.

Personality: The first case of REKIDUS was a tidal wave that sprouted rapidly in the city of Aluwyn. Instantly all populated were infected and killed within weeks of a terrible cancer. Then revived after their death as twisted, detreating creatures. REKIDUS, Or The Red disease, lingers in the air molecules all around. It falls from the sky and worsens the oxygen with every drop of blood-like rain. As the population globally is wiped out, some flee and grow underwater in compounds and submerged cities. The government funds a program called AMOS- Aerial Mandatory Oxygen Scourge- or commonly known as Sky Lifters. Scientists, doctors, and military in one compound organization.

Those remaining are 90% Sky Lifters, a government unit team spread across the region to execute those spreading the disease for a chance to clean this world's air supply. Otherwise, citizens reside in heavy duty pods in mass bodies of water where there is no air. Scarlet forever and always streaks the sky and sometimes even litters bits of diseased pollen or dust spores of death in the air. Rarely, but every so often, rain even falls. Often, it's mistook for blood. Oh well.
