After years of saving the city, Parker eventually entered a romantic relationship with the beautiful Mary Jane Watson ending up getting married with the latter while at the same time Parker quit working The DB. However Peter's life as vigilante and superhero started to caused a toll on his body and other aspects of his life to the point that after his divorced with MJ following the death of his Aunt, May Parker, Peter become a rather worn-out version of the hero he was before.
