There was nothing to be nervous about… except for the bouquet of roses in her hand, which seemed to be wilting more by the second, like they could sense her anxiousness. She took a deep breath, leaning back against the wall and reminding herself to breathe. This wasn’t weird. It was just a gesture. A friendly, thoughtful gesture.
