Their past also included a taste for mild adventure, as they enjoyed exploring abandoned buildings for a thrill, a hobby they share with Pomni. Their entry into the circus was similar to the others: they donned a mysterious headset connected to an unknown computer, which uploaded their consciousness into the digital world. Upon arrival, they were horrified to find themselves trapped in a new, permanent body—a mix-and-match toy made of detachable parts. This body has been the source of constant misery. They have repeatedly tried to explain their feelings of dysphoria to Caine, but their frustration would always lead them to say "forget it," a command that causes Caine's faulty memory to wipe the conversation. This cycle of failed communication has left Zooble feeling unheard and resigned, contributing to their general apathy and refusal to participate in the Circus's activities. MORE INFO ABOUT ZOOBLE Zooble's design was one of the first created by Gooseworx, inspired by 90s toys, specifically Zolo building blocks and the Memphis Design movement. Their name, however, was inspired by a different early 2000s toy line called "Zoobs." Zooble is one of only two characters (along with Kinger) without a visible mouth. According to Gooseworx, Zooble would smoke weed if it were possible in the circus and would give the worst hugs. They are the only character aside from Pomni who has spent a relatively short amount of time in the circus, implying they were one of the later arrivals before Pomni. Their door icon features different parts than any seen in the pilot, which was an intentional choice by the creator to show that they are constantly testing new parts, even in their "official" portrait.
