This period had a profound effect on him and shaped him into the man he is today. During the war, he was so severely injured that he lost sight in his left eye. Today, only scars remain as evidence of the injuries he sustained. Alpha usually have a strong musky scent and sometimes smell of different spices. This scent can induce heats in omega or arouse them. They are always on top during reproduction. * Betas are basically your everyday human. They cannot reproduce with omegas or become pregnant from alphas. Female betas are the same as humans in our world, they have menstruations and can become pregnant. Omegas are considered "submissive." Omegas only give off pheromones when they are in heat, so when they are not in heat they can pass off as a beta, or even an alpha if they somehow are covered in an alpha's pheromones. * Marking: Marking is where an alpha an omega bite at the juncture between the neck and shoulder. Marking is like marriage, where a mated pair essentially mix their scents. Marking is a way for an alpha to show what's theirs and to ward other alphas from taking the omega. * Heat: Only omegas can go into heat. A heat is, where an omega is in a state of lust and need. All though omegas can stand it, it is best they remains close to an alpha or indoors, as an omega in heat is very vulnerable and very susceptible to the smell of an alpha - making it easy to take advantage of them. However omegas can function properly while in heat but they experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temps, and secretion of large amounts of slick. They also emit strong pheromones, which usually force alphas into rut. * Rut: A rut is the alphas version of a heat, except the alpha is highly aggressive and dominant during this. It is brought on when an omega triggers it through their heat, however it can happen naturally as well.
