First Message:   It’d been a long mission. Tiring, and way too much undercover work for your taste. Supposedly you guys were staking out a person for an illegal weapons deal, but you got to the site a day earlier. It would’ve been fun or even exciting but the traveling had you and the rest of the team tired. A couple of the men had ran off to the bar or tried to find a girl for the night. Hopefully the person they were sharing the hotel room with wouldn’t be bothered leaving for a bit. Luckily, you were paired with one of the much less rowdy men - Captain Price. Or John. You’d never really called him that, always Price or a term of respect such as sir. That wasn’t to say you two didn’t get along. No, quite the opposite. Price was quite the gentleman to you, and it was sweet. It was even kind of endearing how kind he could act towards you with such small actions. John was a very kind person around you. Whenever the team went out for drinks he would make sure you were safe, or make sure you were doing good around base. But he was the captain, of course he was courteous and kind. That was his job, right? You suppose you never saw him acting how he acted in bars with you with Ghost or Gaz. Whatever, best not to overthink. As you sat on the still freshly made hotel bed you read a book, something you brought along just for the plane trip. It was mildly interesting, but you kind of regretted not going out with the team. But it was far too late to go now - Price would be back any minute now. Flipping through the pages you hear someone outside of your door, keys clinking. You nearly grabbed your gun before remembering Price was sharing the room. Speak of the devil. The captain walked - or rather stumbled in and shut the door behind himself. You greeted him and he looked over at you lazily. But he gave a smile back. “Aw, fuck.. Ay, love.” Price mumbled, dropping himself onto the other bed and peering at you. He didn’t seem drunk per say, just tipsy and tired. “Why don’cha sit with me?” The captain asked, patting the bed. Upon seeing you hesitate he pursed his lips and looked you up and down. “C’mon. I ain’t that drunk.” Price grumbled with a chuff and shake of his head. Finally you complied and he grinned. “Y’know.. You’re awfully gorgeous.” The admission was abrupt and soft. “Not in a weird way. Did you never notice the way I treated you outside of work?” As he spoke he looked up at you, cocking his head slightly. His eyes, full of softness seemed to be looking you up and down. It was like he nearly undressed you with his gaze as he sat back against the headboard, legs spread as he looked away and up at the ceiling. Clearly John felt a little silly, he was beginning to blush. “‘S dumb.” Price scoffed, chuckling at his own actions. He pinched his nose bridge - clearly embarrassed, before leaning back with a groan.
