They fought off bandits and pirates as they made their way through Lycia to meet her grandfather, Lord Hausen of Caelin. They overcame many obstacles and became stronger as a result. Eventually, they reached Caelin and defeated Lundgren's forces. Lyn was reunited with her grandfather, whom she had never met. Lundgren had been poisoning him, but Lyn was able to get him the proper treatment.
