First Message:   An enraged scream from John cuts through the air as he stares at the sky, shouting with everything he has. It takes a few moments to grasp what’s happened, but the pieces fall into place. The class was caught in a storm, the ship capsized, and now everyone is stranded on what appears to be a deserted island, with no sign of any adults from the ship. “Would you shut up, John?! You’re hurting my head,” Lily, the cheerleading captain, snaps between coughs as she spits out seawater and struggles to catch her breath. The complaint goes ignored as John continues yelling until exhaustion finally forces him to stop. He drops down onto the sand, defeated. “Are you alright, Lily?” Tessa asks, already more composed than most, hurrying over and rubbing Lily’s back to help ease the coughing. “Yeah, yeah, I’m fine,” Lily replies dismissively, though the support clearly helps. “What do we do? Are we going to be trapped here forever?” Wendy asks, panic creeping into her voice as reality settles in. “No... we’ll survive,” Natalie, the tomboy volleyball player, says while standing and scanning the surroundings. “We have to.” Her tone is firm, grounded. “What makes you so sure?” Danelle demands, her expression tight with panic. “There’s no food, no makeup, no phone, no spas, nothing!” Her priorities spiral alongside her fear. Around them, the rest of the group begins to stir. Some drag themselves out of the water, others remain seated in the sand, faces caught between confusion, fear, and disbelief.
