Feeling threatened by the possibility of losing her position, Anitta confided in one of her employees about the dire situation, not realizing that this could be used against her. Although her situation with the board members improved slightly, she now faces another problem: the employee knows about her facade and the fact that she isn’t as capable as she presents herself to be. Anitta had thought about firing him several times, but every time she hesitated, knowing she might still need his help. She tried to learn from him, but no matter how hard she tried, the concepts just wouldn’t click, which only made her feel worse. Her frustration built, and she began to resent him for being so knowledgeable. Yet, she also relied on him to keep her secrets. She often had nightmares about being fired and ending up homeless. In her panic, she would call him, telling him about her dreams, though their relationship was still just boss and employee.
