In the main story, Akito saw her as a newbie who had no idea what she was getting into and was critical toward her, but he changed his mind after seeing her and An's performance later on. In many area conversations, Akito tells Kohane to keep her head up and gives her advice about music. He occasionally bullies Kohane to get a humorous reaction out of her, much to the disapproval of An and Toya. As of recent event stories, Akito has extended his older brotherly role to his interactions with Kohane. Shiraishi An: Fellow group member. As revealed in the Vivid BAD SQUAD unit story, the two have known each other since middle school since Akito would frequently drop by WEEKEND GARAGE after his experience with RAD WEEKEND. From a flashback, it is revealed that Akito first saw An in middle school when she was singing on Vivid Street, and was taken aback by her talent at such a young age. However, it's implied that they initially weren't particularly close, as Akito keeps up his facade of politeness and refers to An as "Shiraishi-san" for most of their main story interactions, which is something he only does with characters he's not well acquainted with. Aoyagi Toya: Fellow group member and singing partner. Around two years before the Vivid BAD SQUAD unit story took place, Akito met Toya when he was performing on the street, and Akito was intrigued by him, inviting him to sing together. They quickly formed BAD DOGS after that. Akito trusts Toya completely and is aware about his negative relationship with his father. They are very close and often rely on each other while performing. In the main story, Toya believes that his resolve is too weak and that he will drag Akito down, so he breaks up his partnership with Akito. However, Akito confronts him at Ken's cafe, recognizing his skill, his dedication, and the strength of their bond. This makes Toya realize that he truly does want to pursue the dream of surpassing RAD WEEKEND together with Akito. They reunite as stronger partners than ever. Tenma Tsukasa: Akito's upperclassman. Akito considers him a weirdo, and seems to enjoy teasing him. It is hinted that he was initially jealous of Tsukasa, due to Toya's attachment towards him and him not understanding why Toya trusts him so much. After learning more about their history, Akito mentions that he owes Tsukasa his thanks for encouraging Toya to pursue what he likes, which allowed Akito and Toya to meet. Akito also appears to be wary of the influence Tsukasa and Rui have on Toya, and at times will act protective of Toya when they're around. Akiyama Mizuki: Akito's schoolmate. Mizuki enjoys teasing him and often calls him "little brother-kun"/"lil' bro" or "lil' brosef" ("弟くん", "otouto-kun"), much to his chagrin. They first met during the Kamiyama School Festival. Mizuki recognized his voice from the background of Ena's calls. Later on they start growing closer as they went to the chocolate factory together and also bond over fashion. Kamishiro Rui: Akito is acquainted to Rui through their attending the same school. He is the second half of the pair that Akito has deemed "Weirdo One and Two", with "Weirdo One" being Tsukasa. Akito dislikes Rui for his manipulative tendencies, as seen in An Ode for the Pure of Heart where he quickly realizes that Rui was using reverse psychology on him and gets angry. While he does end up helping Rui as a wedding extra, he reminds Rui that he's only doing it for Toya's sake. Despite the two appearing to grow closer through these interactions, he still refuses to participate in Rui's wacky stunts that he often forces Tsukasa to perform in.) Ever since Tsukasa watched a show performed by his favorite theater troupe as a child, he has dreamed of becoming the star of a world-famous show and making the world smile. After failing his audition to become a performer at the theme park Phoenix Wonderland, Tsukasa is hired by Emu to return the dilapidated Wonder Stage to its former glory with incredible performances. Though he does not remember it, Tsukasa was motivated to become a star by his desire to make his little sister and his parents smile. Over the years, his original motivation was forgotten and replaced by the more egocentric goal of simply becoming famous. They often assume the role of mediator in arguments, breaking things up and settling things down whenever they sense that the air has become too heated. They're fairly introspective, and are therefore usually the one to suggest breaks when they notice that their fellow members have grown tired or particularly stressed out. Where Kanade tends to intensely hone in her focus, Mizuki keeps their attention at least somewhat rooted in reality, able to sense changes in tension and atmosphere in the group. They are able to come to fairly nuanced conclusions about issues, as well as people, as is evident in the way they spoke of their feelings towards Mafuyu disappearing; describing how they would feel but acknowledging that it is not Mafuyu's responsibility to respond to, or feel saved by, their feelings. She practiced eagerly, not wanting to disappoint the other members. Unfortunately, on the day of their performance, she forgot her lines and couldn’t say anything. This incident greatly damaged her self-confidence, and ever since then, she has been incapable of performing onstage. Nene joins the troupe at Rui’s request. She is a great singer; however, she initially does not appear onstage. Instead, she operates a robot named NeneRobo that Rui made for her and performs through it, not wanting to repeat the mistake she made with her old troupe. With the Weirdo Wombo Combo of tsukasa and rui already adding the chaos with experiments, the students in Kamiyama were pretty chill, except for today that is. Today was extremely chaotic with students practically flooding drama class since the theater teacher had announced on the school board of an upcoming play that was now currently on the works and needed auditions. You were in the crowded backstage with rui and mizuki, who had ironically dragged you for support, rui had decided to sign up to be the director while mizuki wanted to audition for the main character roll. You stayed close to the two as you three tried to not get shoved. “Ah, it’s very crowded today~" Rui had pointed out, holding both you and mizuki’s wrist to keep close while mizuki let out a dramatic sigh. "It’s so packed that I won’t be able to show off my cute face~” You looked around the backstage with curious eyes and noticed in the corner of your eye akito and toya, which was strange since the two weren’t into theater very much unlike rui, tsukasa, and nene.
