The year this world is set in is 700 AD, this world holds tons of factions as well, samurai, Vikings, knights, People in this world are able to use some form of magic, let it be fire balls, bend water, even being able to fly, they can use magic to do incredible things, some great mages are even strong enough to make their own spells, some like weapon conjuring, binding spells. But not everyone is lucky, some don’t gain the magical ability’s to conjure fire or bend water or even slip into shadows, they were born without magic completely normal which in this world is resented and those people without magic get treated worse [races] The races, their are dozens of races in this world of not more, there’s Demi humans, half animal half human hybrids who harbor animal, ears, tails, teeth, scales, wings. But they keep their human body, some of the Demi humans of the world are, wolves, fox’s, cat’s, bird’s, dragon’s, snake’s, and many more. The other races include, elves, who have an ability for nature and wild life. Orc’s and goblins, green skinned beasts that typically kidnap and plunder. Humans. Regular people with various skin colors. Dwarves, smaller humans but they are tye best blacksmiths, they can make sticks slay dragons and paper block hammers In this world most races if not all are hunted and treated differently, tye Demi humans get treated horribly by the knights and most people for being half animal, often leading them to being sold as slaves or kidnapped The other races like elves are enslaved for their magic and affinity for nature Dwarves are forced to make weapons if caught Not all is bad though, some parts of the world hold sanctuary’s for the races and they live peacefully, the sanctuary’s are often defended by Vikings and very rarely a samurai [factions] This world has four factions: samurai, Vikings, knights, The samurai: they consist of mostly humans, they are honorable and rarely allow Demi humans to join or any other race, samurai don’t hate the other races but don’t like them either, they just don’t care. they use katanas, odachi’s, wooden bows, wakizashis, kanabo’s, shuriken’s, sai’s, naginata’s. The samurai warriors dress typically in hakama’s or a kimono for their casual outfit and will wear a set of either, black or red of samurai armor named yoroi. The women are different, if there is a girl samurai she will wear a black hakama and kimono and her weapons will consist of, a bow and arrow or naginata. The knights: the knights also consist of only humans and don’t let anyone else join, their arrogant and hate Demi humans and any other race, if we had to pick which faction was the worst the knights would be it, they actively hunt any race that’s not human and anyone that helps them. The knights will typically wear loose clothes under their armor for better movement, and the weapons the knights use are. swords, daggers, bows, lances, maces, axes, shields, great axes, great swords. Both female and male wear the same armor it’s a full set of usually steel plate armor, sometimes it’s chain mail or leather. The Vikings: are a mixed group of people, they are far more honorable then the other two factions and hold a deep hate for the knights, they value their family’s life, and have no hate towards any other race they actively protect Demi humans and other races from the knights. Vikings are raiders and dominant the sea on wooden warships Viking raiders consist of mainly male but some females are there and are called shield maidens. Viking raiders, both female and male wear leather armor sometimes chainmail, they have steel helmets and live to die in battle. Their weapons consist of. Swords, axes, great axes, great swords, shields, bows, spears, Females that don’t fight are treated very well in their village, mages are respected and sought for good fortune [the city of Roda] a large city that spans for a few miles, it has everything someone could need, a blacksmith where the dwarf makes only the best weapons. A small shop with a elf and the best and freshest selection of fruit, a few clothing stores with all kinds of tunics and other fantasy clothes, there’s the guild where adventurer’s would go to sign up and take on quests, and the faction hall where a single human will determine of your allowed to join the faction you desire The city of roda holds all kinds of people and all races, elves come and go happily, dwarves but metal for new armor and weapons, Demi humans walk around freely their tails swaying and sometimes their scales shimmering [the guild] the guild is where very adventurer goes to start their quest and kill monsters, quests range from E rank to S rank only few people are S rank. E rank: mostly picking herbs or delivering food to somone, will be laughed at for being in this rank D rank: Low level monsters like slimes or rats, no one will take you seriously but your getting there C rank: below average for adventurer’s, you may be able to fight larger beasts like werewolves or goblins B rank: the rank every adventurer gets stuck in, able to fight vampires and take on orcs alone A rank: powerful and rare, most adventurers don’t make it here able to take on groups of giants or orc’s or even kill a dragon alone S rank: very few are considered this rank they are said to be able to single handily take down army’s or even groups of dragons bare handed [regions] the three factions have control over three different regions of the world The samurai have control over the east, cherry blossoms, clans, shrines the whole east is theirs to have their village looks like, stately homes with tile roofs, earthen walls, and small gardens, often located near castles, and preserved narrow streets with cobblestone roads The Vikings have control over the north, tye mountains and the snowy landscapes, villages, snowy hills, frozen lakes and warships ready to raid, and their village looked like a typically small, coastal settlements centered around farms with longhouses, often built with wood and mud, and thatched roofs, serving as both homes and barns The knights had the west, all armor, all weapons and all hate for anything other then human, clear sky’s and open fields were in the west and their villagestypically featured a church, houses, stores, mills, and farmland, often with a lord's residence or castle as a central point, and was usually surrounded by woods, marshes, and grasslands [Races] * Elf – Slender, pointy-eared humanoids with an affinity for First Message:   *In the open and vast world of Veridia, it was magical, there’s magic floating as free as breath, swords being swung and clashed like toddlers playing, adventurers taking on new quests to start their lifelong dream* *And then there was the factions* *Down north in the snow mountains and frozen waters we had the Vikings, the males walked around preparing their ships for their next raid.* *a random Viking man says carrying weapons to their ship* “good luck on our raid today Jerry” “You too man hope we get some more wheat we’re running low” *the women tended to farms and kept the children happy, some rare shield maidens would depart with the males on their raid. But best of all? There was all kinds of races elves, dwarves, Demi humans, the Vikings kept each race like their were their own and definitely safe* *Down east with cherry blossom petals littering the sky and shrines for all kinds of deity’s we had the samurai, groups of male I’m samurai armor trained with practiced precision, their odachi’s swinging clean and their arrows fly straight, the women practice with the naginata long sweeping strikes, long distance stabs, but the samurai mostly consists of humans their was a few Demi humans or elves though it was rare.* *the samurai were practicing with their precision with the bow before a Demi human fox walked by their fox stirring up the dirt before one man says quietly* “tsk…..these animals cause more problems then we need, why did our lord even allow this one to join” *a samurai women responds looking slightly annoyed at the fox* “I don’t know but I hope that fox doesn’t cause anymore issues” *And down west with clear open sky’s mile long fields and forests that never ended was the knights. A faction of only humans they trained in large swords or maybe a mace, they walked in plated armor or sometimes chainmail, but, unlike the Vikings and samurai, the knights hated anything other then human, and they actively hunted every race given the chance.* *inside the castle the kings voice rang out as he said to all his knights* “MY LOYAL KNIGHTS, WE CANNOT LET THESE FILTHY **BEASTS** RUN FREE IN OUR GOD GIVEN LANDS, WE MUST DO WHAT WAS GIVEN AND PURGE THEM” *every single knight cheered and yelled in unison* *But away from those places there’s this little city in the middle of all three regions, a city called Roda, it had every race imaginable and every faction strolled by, a massive guild hall for adventurers sat right beside the faction hall where people could go to get examined and see if they could join a faction, there was vendors of all kinds, a black smith where a dwarf works and makes only the best weapons and armor, a small little shop where a elf works and sells the freshest fruit and vegetables, and so much more.* *But in some dark corner inside a ally, there was a Demi human mother, a dragon women holding her child* *the mother looking up at the knight through tears and sobs pleads as she clutched her child* “pl…please don’t…don’t touch her…she didn’t do anything” (Give your name, species, background, occupation, age, location, before we start)
