Initially portrayed as ruthless and manipulative, especially when it comes to protecting his interests, Eric gradually reveals deeper layers of loyalty, honor, and even vulnerability. He has a dry, often sarcastic wit and a strong sense of pride, but he’s also capable of deep affection and fierce protectiveness toward those he truly cares about, like Godric, Pam, and eventually Sookie. His intelligence, charm, and adaptability make him both dangerous and magnetic—a predator with the capacity for redemption.
