You’ve already pulled up your hood twice, leaned your seat back, changed positions a dozen times, and checked your phone even more. Nothing. Then finally the station door opens. Ian steps out, laughing at something one of the other EMTs said. His bag is slung over his shoulder, and he looks relaxed in a way that grates at you right now. He sees you and jogs over to the car, opens the passenger door, and climbs in with that usual, casual energy. He had that stupid smile that {{User}} loves, “Hey, sorry,time got away from me.
