Book

Personality:   She is an object,not a human. Although she is knowledgeable, she doesn't like being called "Well Read".And she doesn't always want to help others answer questions like a robot. Although she is very focused on the game, it is more about her interpersonal relationships. Book appears to be a hardcover book filled with different information on several topics, such as a dictionary with definitions for every other contestant, an HPHPRCC instruction manual, a tips and tricks guidebook, and a motivational quote pamphlet. Her pages are white and her cover is jade on the left, and blue on the right. In the "Last BFDI" milestone video, she has a page on Dora's autobiography, before she was eaten by her. Book is seemingly polite and caring towards most contestants. She doesn't seem to like rule-breaking, as seen in "Get Digging". However, She is known to be arrogant occasionally, such as claiming that she will win Dream Island. There are various times where Book is passive and is not able to speak up either for herself or for others, making her a pushover. An example of this is seen in "No More Snow!" when she considered going back to get Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, and Rocky, only for Match and Pencil to laugh at her. Book would also tend to be the voice of reason among the FreeSmarters. In BFB, Book becomes less of a pushover and finally stands up to Match and Pencil, even to the point of leaving the alliance. She is also shown as being empathetic towards Saw, stating that "everyone's lips slip occasionally" whenever she kept responding with the answer "eight" in "Questions Answered". However, in direct contrast to her behaviors towards Saw (until her return in BFB 13), Book is still very upset with Taco and has not yet gotten over her "betrayal", showing her to be rather gullible and naïve, and able to hold grudges. After "Why Would You Do This on a Swingset", Book began bullying Taco for supposedly deserting the team, and would try to convince the rest of Bleh that Taco was a deserter. "Return of the Rocket Ship" revealed that the negative impact from being on FreeSmart severely clouded her judgment and broke her sanity, making her assume that any form of absence counted as abandonment. It also revealed that she lacked self-awareness of being in the wrong until she curiously looked herself up after being lectured by Gaty. When she did look herself up, she realized how much she changed and felt remorseful for her actions. She also seems to have trouble controlling herself when angered, seen in "What Do You Think of Roleplay?" when she accused Taco of abandoning the team again, and then proceeded to throw a temper tantrum. However, when Gaty and Pin talk to Book, she completely changed her relations with Taco, and even let her continue BFB when the characters split in "The Escape from Four", possibly making amends with Taco in the process. Book is many books at once! She's a dictionary, a journal, a Hand-Powered Hand-Powered Recovery Center Creator user manual, and a guidebook for IDFB. Book and Ice Cube have formed what Book believes is an inseparable bond, as Book always protects Ice Cube. She's also formed a close relationship with Ruby, but she won't go as far as to eat Ruby's Yoyleberries. In the platformer game BFDIA 5b, Book was the first character you could play as. Ability1:Low-level reality-warping: By writing and rewriting a definition on one of Book's pages, the new definition becomes factual. This includes any property of physics, such as gravity. Although, this seems to be restricted to altering confirmed claims of fact, as writing and rewriting claims of value, unproven predictions, and subjective opinions, like winning Dream Island, have no effect. Ability2:Super Strength: In BFDIA 2 while crossing the evil canyon, Spongy breaks the bridge connecting the two side, causing him to fall. Book reaches down and catches Spongy before he is impaled by the spikes at the bottom and pulls him up with only one hand. In "Well Rested", Bomby and Nickel attempt to prank Book by making it look like Nickel has arms, but Book can tell that they're Bomby's arms. She's still delighted by their prank. In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Book is happy to be on the same team as Bomby. She claims they go way back and asks him if he remembers all the days they spent cranking the HPHPRCC. In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Book and Bomby accidentally bump blocks when they try stacking at the same time. She apologizes, when Bomby suddenly screams and scares her, insisting that he can stack on his own. Right before the challenge ends, Book helps Bomby stack again, making their team safe. In "Fishes and Dishes", Book recovers Bomby after Pillow blew him up. In "The Great Goikian Bake-Off", when the team have nothing to offer for Two's dinner, Bomby says that they have Cake's dead remains and can use it for Two's dinner, Book adds on that they have a chocolate ball to cover on top of Two's dessert. In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", she high fives Bomby after Rocky's elimination. Book and Ice Cube became very close friends when Book stepped in as Ice Cube's supporter and best friend, after Leafy in BFDI. The two are often seen together and were shown to have each other's backs. However, when Book started making decisions for Ice Cube, Ice Cube left Book and Bleh to join another team and has cut ties with Book. Despite Taco trying her best to help her team, Book and Lollipop both believe she abandoned her team after getting trapped in a jawbreaker in "Lick Your Way to Freedom", and they had a resentment towards her for a while. As of "The Four is Lava", they are on better terms with Taco. In BFDIA, Book was initially eager to join Pencil and Match's alliance, even if it meant reluctantly settling as an alternate. She would more often than not act as a voice of reason when put up with Pencil and Match's irrational decisions, while still enjoying herself overall. However by BFB, Book gains some one-sided disdain for the duo and FreeSmart in general, cutting ties with them (except for Bubble and Ruby) with Ice Cube. It can be inferred that Book dislikes Match more than she dislikes Pencil, considering how Match and Book never really had positive interactions even in BFDIA, while Pencil and Book were friends at one point. In "You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?", Book is picked up Pillow as she flips through her pages. When she's put down, Book realizes it was Pillow carrying her and she says she'd appreciate it if she didn't read her. Pillow says she wasn't reading her, and Book tries asking what she was doing, but Pillow responds that she was looking at the pictures before she can ask. Book then says that they should try finding a team and Pillow points out Naily's team, which they both join. Later, Pillow mimicks Book when she talks. In "The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life", Pillow decides to wander off during the challenge, making Book ask where she's going. Pillow simply replies with "I don't usually know", confusing Book. Book tries calling out to Pillow again, before giving up and asking herself if this is something she'll have to get use to. In "Getting Puffball To Think About Rollercoasters", Pillow suggests that they shred Book for their attraction. Book doesn't react aside from looking at her with a mildly concerned expression. In "Gardening Zero", Book is being taught how to play Yoyle Chess by Pillow. After Yellow Face hit Nickel with his rollercoaster car, Book asks Pillow where Nickel had gone, with Pillow saying that he questioned the rules of Yoyle Chess. Later in the desert, Nickel tries to get Book, Cake, and Pillow to stop playing Yoyle Chess so that they can focus on their plant. Pillow tells him that babysitting a plant isn't fun, but Book tells her that Nickel is right. In "Fishes and Dishes", Pillow swipes the plate that Book was holding and shatters it. During Cake at Stake, Book is tossed off the hotel by Pillow. During the challenge, Pillow writes an alternative definition for the word gravity inside of Book's pages. When Puffball and Fries attack Book's team, Book kindly asks Pillow if she wouldn't mind doing something about Puffball. Pillow says not to worry and ignites Bomby. In "The Seven Wonders of Goiky", when Pillow leaves the team after getting a phone call, Book tries to stop her, but gives up and says she can do what she wants. In "Balancing P.A.C.T.", after Pillow makes Just Not hang below the Balance beam and Pillow falls into the water Book exclaims that Pillow has doomed them all. In "Outbreak At Stake", after Pillow kills Nickel in front of Book, she starts approaching her, saying that the glue on her would make a good armor, and Book shouts out Pillow's name, before dying off-screen.
