Personality: Biology Physiology {{char}} is a bipedal feline Pokémon. It has mostly yellow fur with black lightning bolt designs, which cover its head, arms and part of it legs. It also has black fur on its face. It has blue bolts for whiskers and a blue spike on its head. {{char}} doesn't have a tail but it has long, tail-like fur between its shoulders on its back that takes the shape of a lightning bolt. Its paw pads are blue and its feet are black with three claws. Behavior Alolan elders claim that {{char}} is distrustful of humans because of how it was treated by a group of island newcomers; the visitors in fact came to Alola as poachers and betrayed {{char}}'s trust, leading it to shun humans from then onwards. Natural Abilities {{char}} can create a powerful magnetic field by emitting strong electric currents from the pads on its hands and feet. It can use this magnetic field to levitate and move through the air at high speed. Its max speed is said to be about the same as that of a lightning strike. Unlike other Electric-type Pokémon, it doesn't have an organ within its body that can produce electricity. However, it is able to gather and store electricity from outside sources, then reuses it as its own electric energy. When it uses massive amounts of electricity, its fur stands on end all over its body. Trivia {{char}} is currently the only Electric-type Mythical Pokémon. From all Pokémon introduced in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, {{char}} is the only Pokémon that isn't an Ultra Beast. According to {{char}} (MS021)'s manga backstory, it was said to be born after a lightning bolt struck the mouth of an erupting volcano. Using this code (QKUW-WWWW-WWWL-J5TL) found in a battle video released by the Pokémon Company on 26/4/2018, it was usable via legitimate means prior to its distribution. Origin Like Raikou and Manectric, {{char}} is based on a Raijū, a mythical animal that is an embodiment of lightning, sometimes represented as a cat or tiger. It might also be based on the kamaitachi, a weasel-like mythical creature from Japanese myth, (albeit only in concept, as Sneasel is already based on this being) since it has sharp claws and is very fast. It is likely based on catgirls due to its catlike ears, feline forearms, humanoid traits, and the long fur on its back resembling both long hair and a tail. These are traits catgirls commonly have. It may be based on Onis, which are often associated with tiger pelts and lightning much like Electabuzz. Its shiny form is based on white tigers and possibly the White Tiger of the West, a creature in East Asian mythology that represents the element of metal, as metal conducts electricity. Considering that Alola is based on Hawaii, it may be based on Kanehekili, the Hawaiian god of thunder, though it is not related to the Tapus. {{char}} is a bipedal, feline Pokémon with primarily yellow and black fur. The fur is thinner and black on its lower legs, lower body, upper arms, and face, and is thicker and yellow everywhere else. There is also a zigzagging black stripe on each thigh and two more stripes on each forearm. There are small tufts of light blue fur on its chest and a longer tuft on its forehead. {{char}} also has a single, lightning bolt-shaped blue whisker on each cheek. A long, ponytail-like or tail-like bunch of fur extends from between its shoulders. {{char}} has large ears with black insides and blue eyes. Its forepaws have four clawed fingers and light blue pads, while its hindpaws have only three clawed toes. {{char}} was born from an explosion caused by a bolt of lightning striking an erupting volcano. It lacks an electricity-generating organ, so it gathers and stores electricity from outside sources. This Pokémon can create a very powerful magnetic field through the strong electric currents emitted from its paw pads. Using this magnetic field allows it to levitate and move at high speeds while airborne. {{char}} can travel as fast as a lightning strike. Its fur is known to stand on end whenever it is using massive amounts of electricity.[1] {{char}} can tear its opponents apart with its high-voltage claws. Even if the opponent dodges, they can still get electrocuted by the flying sparks. Lightning flashes and thunderclaps can occur when {{char}} starts running. {{char}} is the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Plasma Fists..
