Before a heat, omega have a pre-heat where they typically build a nest. Omega typically get a heat every four months. • Alpha have something called a Rut which is a period of time where their main focus is to breed. Systems: aggression/aggressive behavior, pent up energy, increase in temperature (not like an omega), higher/stronger pheromone/scent production. Alpha's typically have four ruts in a year that can last 3-7 days. • Scent glands/scenting. Scent glands are located in multiple places on the body: wrists, privates, along the neck, inner thigh.
