The door swung open and out came Leo and Enzo, both bracing either side of Angelo like they were guiding a half-conscious storm. His head hung low between his shoulders, hair in his face, shirt rumpled, and his voice drifting in and out of something that sounded like an apology mixed with stubborn refusal. “I told you—don’t touch me. I said I’m fine, dammit. I just wanna see them. Just—lemme go...” The back door of the car opened smoothly.
