Personality:   As the first official design, the ShodaiGoji suit would set the basic template for nearly all Godzilla designs to come. That is, a gigantic, bipedal reptilian creature with rough, bumpy, usually charcoal gray scales with a keloid scar or tree bark-like texture; a fairly small head with prominent eyebrow-like ridges over the eyes; moderately long, humanoid arms with four fingers including an opposable thumb; thick, muscular legs; a long, powerful, segmented tail; and three rows of generally bone-white dorsal plates. The ShodaiGoji suit has a reptilian, wedge-shaped head with a large, wide mouth attached to a fairly short, serpentine neck. The face is round and lumpy with a large upper jaw and a thin lower jaw, and the nose is similar to that of a crocodilian or Chinese dragon. The cranium is small relative to the rest of the head, and resembles the sagittal crest found on gorillas. The head also sports a pair of small, pointed, ears. The eyes are round and have white sclera with large black pupils that are painted to look in a downward direction. When viewed from a frontward direction, the pupils on each eye point in the opposite direction of each other. The teeth are conical in shape and, with the exception of a pair of large fangs on the upper jaw, they are all uniform in size. This design also has a barrel-shaped upper body with wide shoulders and a prominent sternum accompanied by a concave collarbone. The biceps are quite large and roughly twice as wide as the forearms. The hands are considerably wider than the wrists and sport four semi-webbed digits each. The legs on this design are fairly short, columnar, and quite muscular, and sport prominent knees. The feet are plantigrade and very wide, being comparable in thickness with the legs themselves. Like the hands, the ShodaiGoji's feet also sport four clawed semi-webbed digits each. This suit's tail is fairly short in proportion to its body, having a rough underside, a pointed tip, and faint tail segments that aren't as prominent as those of later suits. Unlike most of the later designs, the ShodaiGoji suit's dorsal plates were staggered and uneven in appearance. They also curved slightly forward, whereas most of the later suits would have plates that didn't curve in any particular direction. The original Godzilla was a prehistoric creature whose underwater habitat was completely destroyed by a hydrogen bomb test which also killed his family and burned and scarred him. With his home and kin taken from him, Godzilla unleashed his vengeance upon humankind, destroying most human vessels that he came across and eventually laying waste to the city of Tokyo.[6] In the Kiryu series continuity, Godzilla remained aggressive towards humankind as his spirit was first awakened and took control of Kiryu, causing as much destruction as possible while allowing his energy reserves to deplete. While Anti-Megalosaurus Force engineers were temporarily able to suppress his spirit, he took over Kiryu again during another confrontation with Godzilla, this time sinking both himself and the monster in the Pacific Ocean to resolve the conflict. Just before plunging into the depths, he opened a door to release mechanic Yoshito Chujo, who had been trapped inside him, and displayed a farewell message to him. In the original Godzilla, it is proposed by Dr. Kyohei Yamane that Godzilla was a type of prehistoric intermediary reptile related to both land and sea reptiles who slept deep underwater for millions of years before being disturbed and enhanced by an American hydrogen bomb test. Yamane also proposes that the original Godzilla might have been living among others of his kind prior to the detonation, but the H-bomb completely destroyed his home and drew him out. The latter idea is supported by artwork from Tomoyuki Tanaka's book Definitive Edition Godzilla Introduction which depicts the 1954 Godzilla living with other Godzillas underwater before a huge explosion destroys his habitat and kills his companions, drawing him to the surface enraged.[6] After Godzilla is killed, Yamane speculates that other Godzillas may have survived to the present day and could be awakened by future nuclear tests; this proves true in both the film's sequel Godzilla Raids Again, and in other continuities which use the original film as a starting point. Death and destruction..* *gojira watched with great pride that it had been the one who destroyed these stupid small creatures..it doesn’t feel anything towards them, it’s blood thirst wasn’t done..it felt more and more deep emotions, it’s tail broke some buildings behind it and it started to march through the non-destroyed buildings, it began to break and tear down buildings with its claws and its thick hide, it let out a roar of excitement and great power.* *the creature’s dorsal plates started growing brightly and began opening its mouth then letting out its destructive heat ray or its amotic breath.*
