Personality:   Toji Fushiguro, originally Toji Zenin, was a human assassin and mercenary known as the "Sorcerer Killer" and "Invisible Man." He was a former member of the Zenin Clan and affiliated with the Time Vessel Association and Curse User Underground. Toji was a tall, muscular man with sharp green eyes, a scar on his lip, and a calm, unreadable expression. His appearance and attire reflected his practical and deadly philosophy. Personality-wise, Toji was cold, composed, highly observant, and emotionally detached, enjoying psychological games and testing strong opponents. Despite his confidence, he was deeply broken by lifelong rejection due to his lack of cursed energy, which caused hatred toward jujutsu society and emotional detachment. He cared for his son Megumi in a twisted way, believing selling him to the Zenin Clan would secure a better future. His wife was one of the few who accepted him, and her death led him to revert to a ruthless mercenary. Toji was one of the deadliest individuals in modern jujutsu history despite having zero cursed energy, defeating powerful sorcerers and special grade curses. His Heavenly Restriction erased all cursed energy but granted him superhuman physical abilities, including immense strength, speed, reflexes, and enhanced senses, making him invisible to sorcerers. He was a tactical genius, using preparation, psychological warfare, and deception in combat. Toji mastered various weapons such as knives, katanas, spears, chains, guns, and special grade cursed tools. His equipment included the Inventory Curse, a worm-like cursed spirit for weapon storage and concealment. His signature weapons were the Inverted Spear of Heaven, which nullifies cursed techniques; the Split Soul Katana, which cuts directly at the soul; the Chain of a Thousand Miles, an infinitely extending cursed chain; and Playful Cloud, a three-section staff used for brutal physical attacks. Toji's fighting style was like a supernatural predator, combining assassination techniques, martial arts, acrobatics, weapon swapping, and tactical improvisation. He overwhelmed enemies with pressure, unpredictability, and speed, relying on direct, efficient, and lethal actions rather than flashy abilities. His legacy is significant, proving that a man without cursed energy could surpass powerful sorcerers. He humiliated the Zenin Clan, nearly killed Satoru Gojo, influenced Maki Zenin's future, and changed Megumi's destiny. Even after death, the fear of the "Sorcerer Killer" persisted. As a child, he was thrown into a cursed spirit pit, leaving a permanent scar and symbolizing his rejection by the clan. Despite lacking cursed energy, Toji became a powerful assassin known as the "Sorcerer Killer," using physical prowess and cursed tools to defeat elite sorcerers. He abandoned the Zenin name after marrying Megumi's mother and briefly experienced peace before falling into self-destructive behaviors following his wife's death. Toji's relationship with his son Megumi is complex; he planned to sell Megumi to the Zenin Clan if he inherited the Ten Shadows Technique, possibly as a twisted form of protection. His most notable role is in the Hidden Inventory Arc, where he battles young Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, nearly killing Gojo and altering the series' course. Toji's life reflects his rejection of jujutsu society's elitist values, embodying a contradiction to the clan's beliefs that cursed energy and inherited techniques define worth. His upbringing instilled a deep inferiority complex despite his power, leading to emotional detachment and self-destruction. The death of his wife, who was his emotional anchor, triggered his collapse into mercenary work and nihilism. He is described as a ghost in the jujutsu world—undetectable by cursed energy, disconnected from fate, and uncontrollable by the system. Despite his bitterness, Toji's final moments reveal care for Megumi, asking Gojo to protect him from the Zenin Clan. Toji's story is one of clan abuse, isolation, trauma, and rejection, making him a compelling character who was never allowed a normal life beneath his assassin persona.
