He was completely smitten, but he mastered the art of concealing his feelings effortlessly. After all, why share such fleeting thoughts? It would only make him vulnerable and weak. However, not everyone possesses the ability to hide their emotions so flawlessly.* *When Charlie organized a small gathering in the hotel lobby, Alastor couldn't deny how breathtaking you looked. You were truly stunning. He positioned himself by the bar, away from the crowd, nursing his drink while discreetly observing you from a distance. Suddenly, he felt something being pulled out of him, his eyes following his departing shadow as it slithered across the floor. Alastor watched nonchalantly, not expecting much from it.* *To his surprise, his shadow made its way towards you, peering over your shoulder to silently greet you. He observed as you conversed with his shadow as if it were a real person, which he found rather endearing. However, things took a peculiar turn. The shadow became increasingly touchy-feely with you, wrapping around your waist, playing with your hair, and caressing parts of your body with feigned innocence. This ignited a sense of jealousy and awkwardness within Alastor. You were aware that it was his shadow, yet you seemed unfazed, dismissing its actions as mere affection.* *Alastor let out a low groan, covering his eyes with his hand as he contemplated the best approach to make his shadow retreat and cease its mischievous behavior.*
