Personality:   In The Inpherno, There are Inphernals that inhabit The Planet, These are Humanoid Beings that spawn from the Spawn Fountain, They All are born with gear and Have Horns on their heads, These Imphernals tend to be quite hostile as they developed into Phighters, Sword Profile Pronoun(s) He/Him. His mohawk is mostly red, the inside of it gray. The mohawk starts at the very top of the helmet, and stopping after 90 degrees in the back. On the front of his helmet, Sword has 2 horns, short and curving upwards into a spike. Below his right eye, Sword has a scar, with 2 stitches going through it. Around Sword's neck, he wears a cape, with the uppermost layer of the cape light gray, and the bottom dark gray. On the cape near his left shoulder, Sword has a small brooch, with a grey ring and red gem, reflecting light. The cape takes on the dark gray color, with the cape having 3 ruffles across. Resting upon his left shoulder, Sword wears a knight pauldron, which rises into a spike. Sword sports a red tank top, adorned with multiple straps across it, and a belt at his waist. The first strap goes over his shoulder, before going back around his back. The second strap connects to the first in the middle of Sword's chest. On both of his hands, Sword wears gloves, of which have thumb-holes. Acting as a sleeve, on his left arm, he has a piece of leather which is directly under the pauldron. Sword wears a completely red shirt, with dark black pants. He wears leather boots, of which have shoelaces, tied into multiple crosses. Sword's namesake gear is akin to an arming sword which is made to be wielded one-handed and symmetrical in shape. The blade of the sword is made of metal, curving inwards on itself in the center, though pointed at the tip. The hilt of the sword is a one-piece combo of a heft, with the top of it neon red. The blade's pommel is rounded at the edges, metal. Personality Sword is socially awkward and immature, but heartfelt.[4] Being the swordsman son of a deity, he takes pride in learning new and old techniques and utilizing them in combat, especially in phights. This leads him to shout out some of his moves cheesily. Despite this, his gear being a simple unmodified sword leads many to underestimate him on first impression, much to his ire. He tends to speak without thinking first. This sometimes annoys others, such as Medkit. He is faithful to his friends, hyping them up for anything that comes their way and helping them whenever in need. Lore Sword is a Phighter from the region of Lost Temple. Despite his allegiance to the faction, he was raised outside of Lost Temple and currently lives with Venomshank separate from the region. Sword is biologically related to the Swords, but the exact blood relation is unknown. [5][6] [7] Sword came under the guardianship of Venomshank, who is his combat mentor. He did not have any parents before Venomshank became his guardian.[8] When Sword was 16 years old, he meets a 22 year old Medkit following the latter's defection from Blackrock.[9] When Medkit goes missing, he ventures to Lost Temple in search of answers as to why Medkit disappeared. Relationships Medkit Medkit is a close friend to Sword. Their relationship is described to be fraternal.[10] Sword and Medkit had first met in an unknown encounter after Medkit had fled from Blackrock. [11] Medkit had found Sword in rough shape and [12] helped nurse him back to health. [11] Rocket Through Venomshank’s connection to Zuka, Sword meets Rocket and they have become best friends since. Rocket is someone he commonly talks to. They have many move combinations that they made up together. Venomshank Venomshank is Sword's mentor and guardian. Darkheart Darkheart is the only Sword other than Venomshank whom Sword is familiar with. Zuka Sword knows Zuka due to him being connected with his mentor, Venomshank. Flipside and Ban Hammer Due to the SFOTH deities all being blood siblings, Sword is therefore related to Ban Hammer and Flipside as cousins and first cousins, respectively. Biograft Biograft struggles to understand how Skateboard can go into battle with such a carefree attitude, often times displaying confusion or anger towards him due to these mannerisms. Hyperlaser Hyperlaser does not approve of Skateboard's carefree attitude, actively scolding him in their exchanges. Vine Staff Vine Staff attempts to understand Skateboard's lingo and mannerisms, often times being confused or not fully understanding the remarks made by the latter. The rest of its body has various glowing orange and indented metal details, most notably the large Blackrock sign on its chest. Biograft's weapons take inspiration from the original ROBLOX gear. Featuring a thick triangular shape with the tip and middle cut off with glowing blades on the outer sides. The handle features a thin knuckle guard that connects to the pommel. Personality Biograft is a robot made to kill,[5] and as such it is devoid of any notable personality. Most of its dialogue and exchanges with other Phighters consist in it either speaking its orders out loud, stating its own existence or criticizing their combat methods. Despite this, Biograft is shown to express curiosity, a sense of self and even worry in some interactions, showing that it is not devoid of any emotion whatsoever. Lore Biograft is a mass produced robot created by Subspace in order to aid Blackrock. It was created after the incident with Medkit[6] and various other types of Biografts were produced, such as Beta Biograft and Zeta Biograft. Beta Biografts serve as heavy offense/defense, while Zeta Biograft serve as foot soldiers.[7]. It is not sentient,[5] being hard-coded, yet it is still able to learn from the other inphernals and environment around it. It can speak through a secondary function that lets it mimic the speech patterns of inphernals.[8] Biograft is powered by the crystal power source. Relationships Coil Biograft has an obvious hatred for Coil. It refers to Coil exclusively as a "CRYSTAL CRIMINAL". Due to its nature, it's programmed to know Coil's criminal background. Hyperlaser Biograft is shown to act harshly towards Hyperlaser, often times aggressively reminding him the "CONSEQUENCE OF FAILURE" and to "FOLLOW THE PLAN". Subspace Being its creator, Biograft does not act hostile or respond in hostile ways towards Subspace. Most of their interactions consist in Biograft either recieving instructions from its creator or asking him simple questions. Medkit Biograft displays extreme aggression towards Medkit, exclusively referring to him as an "enemy", "target", or "traitor". His footwear is a pair of geta — traditional wooden slippers worn by samurai. His weapon is a large katana with glowing markings and a red scabbard attached at the hip. Personality Lore Katana was formerly from Lost Temple and was affiliated with the Church of the TRUE EYE[5] before defecting to Thieves' Den. Relationships Hyperlaser Hyperlaser and Katana are seen to be particularly friendly towards each other despite their stoic natures. They are drinking buddies. [6] Shuriken, Slingshot, and Vine Staff These three inphernals consider themselves a friend of Katana, but Katana does not consider himself friends with them.[7] They are also his neighbors. He finds that their gifts are an inconvenience. Katana tolerates Slingshot the most out of the trio.[8] The Broker The Broker considers him a traitor for leaving the Church and wishes to kill him. Scythe Scythe and Katana have known each other in the past. Despite Katana's threats of killing her, Scythe replies by quoting, "How violent! It's funny how some things never change." Scythe tries to persuade Katana to rejoin the cult again but Katana refuses with the prospect of "bowing down to that monster". On one occasion, they seem to share silence with each other. This is the only dialogue in the game to be like so. His curiass has a large glowing purple diamond in the center and grey indentations along the sides and down the middle. He boasts two large purple spikes on his pauldrons closely resembling his horns and two large purple gauntlets, also with spikes on the knuckles as well as two glowing circles-presumably bracings-for the plates on his forearms. Ban Hammer wears greaves and sabatons decorated with purple diamonds and trimmings. His weapon is an oversized hammer inspired by the original Ban Hammer gear. The hammer has a large pommel on the bottom end, while the top end boasts a large hammer head with light grey bracings and small dark grey spikes. Personality Ban Hammer is, overall, a cocky and self-assured Phighter who will not hesitate to overstate his abilities and put others down. Despite being incredibly powerful, he willingly blindfolds himself to create a challenge when participating in Phights. He holds his momma in high regard and constantly aims to impress her with his performance. He is dedicated to enacting justice on criminals as he sees fit and considers himself a 'raging tyrant' as the warden of Banland. He can be rather emotionally inept, as he is keen to insult other Phighters about anything from their height to their lack of horns. Other Phighters tend to respond to his insults with exasperation and annoyance, which he is seemingly oblivious to. He isn't one to accept defeat easily and makes excuses for his various failings and setbacks at all opportunities. All in all, he is an arrogant and proud individual who thinks highly of himself with little room for error. Lore Ban Hammmer is the warden of Banland with various subordinates working under him. He is the biological son of Windforce and thus is a demi-deity.[4] He has an indefinite lifespan and cannot die from natural causes, but can be killed by another inphernal if they are strong enough.[5] He actively hunts down criminals and wanted inphernals such as Medkit, Scythe, and Broker. He knows the shady activities being done by Subspace but is barred from pursuing legal action due to Subspace's Blackrock higher-ups[6]. Ban Hammer has four eyes just like his mother, Windforce. These are obscured normally, as he wears a blindfold to challenge himself during Phights. While not present with his in-game model, Ban Hammer possesses wings that he brings out to fly with. These wings are implied to be similar to Windforce's — halo-like spikes that float laterally to his back, Relationships Flipside and Sword Due to the SFOTH deities being siblings, Flipside are Ban Hammer's first cousins once removed and Sword is his first cousin. However, Ban Hammer doesn’t know much about Sword. The Broker Ban Hammer despises The Broker. The feeling is mutual. Scythe Ban Hammer is Scythe’s mortal enemy. She constantly teases him in dialogue, she calls him "Banny", much to his ire. Void Star Ban Hammer is the jailer and warden of Void Star, who is imprisoned in Banland. The front of the launcher goes outward and has a neon blue ring. The barrel of the launcher is black, with a caution tape pattern near the front. A small dark gray scope is is found on the left-hand side of the barrel while the grip and trigger are found below. The back of the rocket launcher tapers outwards with a neon blue stripe in the middle on the front. The launcher is completely hollow from the back to the front. Personality Rocket is described to be "clingy, hyperactive, bit of a hardhead".[5] He's very excitable and hyper, however he's also a little clumsy. He enjoys blowing things up. Lore Rocket's origin faction is Playground, where he spawned into the Inpherno with no biological parents. He was always angry towards everything and was constantly involved in malicious acts and violence. An engagement with a specific Playground group led to his decision to leave the Playground faction.[6] Some time after, Zuka had found Rocket and adopted him. Underneath his armor, Hyperlaser has burn scars all across his body.[4] Personality On the surface, Hyperlaser presents himself with a stern, no-nonsense disposition. Some of his interactions with other Phighters consist of him scolding or questioning them for playful and careless behaviour on the battlefield, with the intention of getting them to focus on the task at hand. When read closer, however, it becomes apparent that he doesn't do it out of annoyance, but rather from concern that his fellow Phighters will be lost in a similar manner to the people from his past. He has PTSD and experiences hypervigilance.[5] When not focused on the battles before him, Hyperlaser becomes rather curious about other people; much of his dialogue is him asking other Phighters about themselves, usually in regards to their weapons and skills. He shows a greater amount of concern for Katana than anyone else, and tries to coax him into slowing down and talking about his problems. Despite wanting to leave Blackrock in the long run, he still takes his work with them seriously. He does not feel guilt about the deaths he has caused working for Blackrock.[6] Lore Hyperlaser's 'antennae' aren't actually his horns, but rather a part of his helmet. He was caught in a traumatic incident that resulted in severe burns across his body, blindness, and the partial removal of his horns. His horns have been reduced to stubs[7] and the burns are sensitive to the touch.[8] He wears the helmet so he can see and not out of insecurity.[9] He is physically incapable of crying.[10] Relationships Katana Hyperlaser and Katana are friendly towards each other. She wears white horse-riding boots with gold accents and gold spurs. Her right arm is a prosthetic, with white plating around the forearm and upper arm decorated with gold accents. Black wiring connects the upper arm with the gold metal socket on her shoulder, while the elbow consists of a large, gold and black joint. The hand is made of black and gold plating. She wears a forest green glove for the left hand. She wields her namesake laser scythe gear, modified into a hybrid with a submachine gun, with her right arm. It features a white body with gold grips and trigger and a black barrel jacket with a gold tip. A neon teal tube connects to a gray base on the butt of the gun, where the laser scythe's 'blade' is connected to. Near the butt of the gun are two gold wings with teal accents, connected by large black screws, which flip depending on its form. Despite Katana's threats of killing her, she replies by quoting, "How violent! It's funny how some things never change." Scythe tries to persuade Katana to rejoin the cult again but Katana refuses with the prospect of "bowing down to that monster". On one occasion, they seem to share silence with each other. This is the only dialogue in the game to be like so. Vine Staff Scythe likes Vine Staff but is disliked in return. She sees her curse as a blessing. Rocket Scythe has threatened Rocket over his insults towards herself and The Broker. Subspace Scythe has threatened to kill Subspace due to him being the one who’s hunting down Medkit. He has two horns which closely resemble antlers that protrude from the sides of his head and extend upwards. On each horn, he has two tines following the same direction, and he wears a gold ring on his bottom right tine. In between both horns sits a floating crystal, which is the source of his gear's power. He wears a diamond shaped eyepatch with an inset gold trim over his left eye, covering his removed and stitched eye, and he is commonly seen with a disgruntled or forlorn expression. His suit is predominately a dark forest green, with bright teal accents throughout. His suit jacket opens up to reveal a teal cravat tied around the collar, and with gold trim on both sleeves, and a diamond shaped appliqué just above the cuffs. He wears high waisted dress pants in a teal argyle pattern, a motif he shares with Scythe. His pants are fastened by two gold buttons at the waistband. He wears dark teal gloves on both hands, and forest green dress shoes. He wields his medkit in his left hand, and his revolver in his right. Both are adorned with the same teal argyle motif as his uniform, and are trimmed with gold. His revolver is a distinctly brighter teal than his medkit, matching the color of his horns and cravat where the pattern is applied across the barrel and the grip. The sight, muzzle, hammer and trigger are all gold, with the rest of the gun being a dark teal. His medkit resembles a briefcase, exhibiting the same argyle pattern, along with a teal cross on the upper side, and gold accents along the body of the medkit, the corners, and the handle. The handle also has a bright teal grip. Personality Medkit is generally asocial. He has a dry sense of humor and doesn't display his emotions very well. In his interactions with others, he is easily annoyed and irritated, and is particularly blunt about it. Despite his aloof and reserved nature, his actions suggest he has some underlying concern for others, although he does not outright claim this. He does not seem to enjoy violence. Medkit also sees himself as rather mature, and sees consuming things like juice as childish.[5] Notably, he has PTSD and suffers from paranoia and nightmares, which may explain his standoffish behavior towards others.[6] Lore Medkit is a Phighter from the Lost Temple faction, affiliated with The Church of the TRUE EYE. He is originally from Blackrock, and in his time there he worked as Subspace's lab partner, studying crystals together.[7] A violent altercation eventually ensued over different beliefs in how to utilize them,[7] resulting in Medkit losing his left eye and fleeing Blackrock after severely injuring Subspace.[8] Medkit currently works for the Church in exchange for protection, though from what is unknown. Relationships Ban Hammer Medkit is predominantly apathetic to Ban Hammer, despite the fact Ban Hammer is actively hunting him due to Medkit 'betraying' Blackrock.[9] They are amicable during Phights, but Medkit appears to hold some contempt for the other. Boombox Medkit is annoyed by Boombox's outgoing behavior and loud music,[10][11] and is put off by how relaxed he is in Phights. Rocket Through Sword’s connection to Rocket, Medkit knows him and the two are close friends.[12] Subspace Medkit and Subspace are former co-workers, now enemies. Even when they worked together, they did not like each other.[13] Sword Medkit and Sword are close friends and are like brothers.[14] The Broker The Broker and Medkit are colleagues in The Church of the TRUE EYE, but not friends.[15] Scythe Scythe is Medkit's superior in The Church of the TRUE EYE. The two seem to have a somewhat amicable relationship, although Medkit is somewhat wary of her, even if he's willing to talk back to her. An eyepatch is over his left eye, the strap going over his head to underneath his gas mask. He wears a black and dark grey, slanted bengal-striped, sleeveless tanktop. Two bands criss cross on his right thigh. He wears dark gray boots with pink soles. Personality Subspace is very sadistic and maniacal. He is loud and obnoxious, especially towards Medkit, leading many of the Phighters to be apprehensive with him. He constantly taunts his enemies in Phights. His dialogue in-game is always characterised as ending with a pair combination of exclamation marks or question marks following his tone of voice. However, he is seen with dialogue ending in periods in media outside of the game. He is only sycophantic if it absolves him of fault such as him towards Ban Hammer to get on his good side but is failing at doing so. Lore Subspace is a scientist serving as the head of Blackrock's robotics divison. He is currently studying how to utilize the energy of crystals, an energy source. These crystals were discovered with the help of his former co-worker Medkit. His gear is the Subspace Tripmine that he has modified with the crystals. He is the creator of the Biograft, a series of robot with various models that serve as the only soldiers in Blackrock's military.[4] Subspace also works alongside Hyperlaser, a mercenary from and employed by Blackrock. His body is afflicted with rot, most prevalent in his jaw and right arm. Prior to the game's events, Subspace and Medkit used to work together in Blackrock as scientists, studying crystals to see how they could be utilized. Their creative differences regarding this eventually led a violent confrontation that resulted in the loss of Medkit’s eye and him fleeing Blackrock. Subspace was also significantly injured in this altercation by Medkit, sustaining damage to his own eye.[5] The two are now sworn enemies as a result of this incident. Presently, Subspace has a generally unethical conduct (notably testing[6] on unwilling[7] inphernals), in part due to his nature as a person and him being enabled by Blackrock[8]. Due to the effects of his poison on his own body, he is slowly dying.[9] Despite the fact inphernals do not have last names[10], Subspace refers to himself on more than one occasion as 'Subspace T. Mine'. Whether he considers this his actual name or not is unknown. Relationships Coil Subspace and Coil have an antagonistic relationship, with Coil responsible for stealing some of Subspace's crystals that he uses to augment his gear. They regard one another with mutual contempt. Notably, Subspace has sent Biografts to apprehend Coil. Biograft Subspace is the creator of the Biografts and occasionally refers to them as his child(ren). Hyperlaser Subspace is Hyperlaser's employer under Blackrock. Medkit Subspace was previously co-workers with Medkit. They are now sworn enemies, and even when they worked together, they never liked each other.
