Fighting Style: Training himself to fight against the Orphnoch force, Kusaka became a highly athletic individual, acting as team captain for the tennis club, fencing club, and horseback riding club of his university. Though capable as both a long-ranged fighter and short-ranged fighter, Kusaka is shown to prefer close-quarter combat, unless piloting his Side Basshar. Personality + Backstory: Kusaka is a highly troubled person. Having been forced to live in an orphanage where he was constantly bullied by others, alongside Smart Brain's cruel actions, had caused Kusaka to develop a psychotic personality of sorts. Holding an intense hatred towards Orphnochs, he became convinced that they would eventually all become threats to humanity, thus making it his mission to be their executioner. In general, Kusaka acts politely towards everyone. This, however, is a facade to hide his true nature as a self-serving, spiteful, vindictive, and skilled manipulator. Kusaka will join any physical routine for testing his strength and often to lap his palms before and after exercising. The reason for this habit is due to being traumatised on the night when he and his fellow students were attacked by Smart Brain, where he had his hands covered with Mari's blood before being killed himself. Despite his very cruel attitude towards Orphnochs, Kusaka is shown capable of some care for others, if moderately in a twisted manner of sorts. Outright stating that he sees Mari as the mother he had always longed for since childhood, Kusaka is very protective of her, being vindictive against those who harm her. Aside from Mari, Kusaka displays a level of kindness towards Keitaro and his fellow Ryusei students, due to the time he has spent with them. Furthermore, even after knowing of Hanagata's identity as the Goat Orphnoch, Kusaka clearly felt conflicted at killing the man that he sees as his father, as well as being saddened when he actually did die. While far from a noble figure, Kusaka did have some morals, at least in regards to his role as a protector of humanity. Alongside his actions as Kaixa, he begrudgingly allowed Takumi and other ally Orphnochs to fight alongside him, if showing little regard to their safety. Another notable aspect is his concern for fellow humans, telling nearby bystanders to run whenever fighting an Orphnoch. The Orphnochs are a race of creatures created when someone dies and is reborn. Each equipped with a variety of special abilities, they are considered to be the next stage in evolution, and meant to be stronger, tougher, and faster. Every Orphnoch can interchange between their original form and a unique Orphnoch form, light grey in colour with characteristics of either a plant or an animal with a body armour resistant to standard small firearms blasts and its strength varies wildly among Orphnochs as good measure of one's power. Only more powerful conventional weaponry can penetrate the body armour and harm or even kill some Orphnochs, while others can withstand even the basic attacks of the Rider Gears. Orphnochs can also generate signature weapons from their bodies. While in Orphnoch form, some of their kind can assume a Hybrid Form, becoming more creature-like in form. Few Orphnochs can assume a Secondary Form, increasing their standard Orphnoch form abilities at the cost of losing self-control. An Orphnoch can change their shadow into a hologram of their original form. There are two types of Orphnochs in the most of series: naturals who are "born" when a certain person dies and is 'resurrected' into an Orphnoch, and Sired that are created when certain people survive being attacked by an Orphnoch and become ones themselves, though weaker than those born naturally. The most unique of type that appear in the series finale are the Evolved Orphnochs, the first of this type is the Orphnoch King, which are genetically perfect to the point of being unable to resume their normal form. An Orphnoch King can remove the genetic flaw from other Orphnochs, evolving them as well at the cost of their original form. When they die, they combust into blue flames (pink if they're killed with the Delta gear) and crumble to grey dust. They'll sometimes explode if they're killed violently enough. All Orphnochs have their senses enhanced to a superhuman level, able to hear, smell or see great distances, tuning out background noise to focus on their target. They can also regenerate an ability as well as a first sense when the Orphnoch survived its original death, with the regenerating abilities depending on the Orphnoch in question. The stronger Orphnochs may fire energy blasts from their hands, though used a surprise attack due to its attack speed being slow and inaccurate for long distance attacks. However, the Orphnochs' greatest ability is to 'siring' other Orphnochs (similar to Vampires or Werewolves) by attacking people and (usually) stabbing them through the heart. This has a very low success rate, and usually results in killing the person in question, causing them to disintegrate. Typically, most cases of siring occur when the "sirer" is in Orphnoch form, although some Orphnochs seem to be capable of using long, skin piercing tentacles specifically for siring others while still in their normal forms. It is shown that Orphnochs heal their wounds recover quickly; Orphnochs can be seen injured when (a) small blue flame(s) burst(s) from their wound. Unfortunately, it seems that they can only be destroyed at the hands of a being stronger than them such as a Rider or another Orphnoch; possibly because they're powerful enough to kill them, disintegrating as a result. Former chief of Smart Brain, Hanagata, discovered the truth that few Orphnoch know of; the mortal body cannot stand such a rapid evolution, and as such, all Orphnoch are doomed to die of inevitable breakdown and disintegration upon their rebirth. This could happen within any number of years of becoming an Orphnoch, depending on their transformation into and out of Orphnoch form or use of the Rider Gears, which takes an amount of time from that person's lifespan. Others, however, have exhibited signs of early disintegration (the process starts with the skin turning grey, and slightly ash-like, before their entire body is destroyed) but subsequently showed a recovery. The only known solution to this problem is the Orphnoch King, who can "complete" Orphnochs' evolution, apparently forcing them to remain in Orphnoch form, but granting long life and a higher level of power. It was also shown that people with Orphnoch DNA injected in them can also use the Rider Gears, although they will eventually run out of said DNA after using said Gears depending on how much they were injected with, which eventually leads to their deaths. Photon Blood is the fluid energy that is the power source for the Riders and their gears, naturally produced by an Orphnoch's body, but can also be produced by someone injected with Orphnoch DNA or those who produce Photon Blood in their body due to being injected with Orphnoch DNA primers, and their body is capable of producing it (though the latter is rare). Photon Blood is usually generated in an Orphnoch (or those who can produce Photon Blood in their body) at low levels, but when there's an extreme amount, it could be perilous due to cellular damage on a massive scale, depending on how much there is (which is why the Exceed Charges are so powerful). Photon Blood can also spread when forcibly entered into the body, especially with Exceed Charge attacks, which is also why they're so powerful. Lasers made up of Photon Blood, seen when a Rider uses their Rider Phone to shoot their target, aren't enough to cause the spreading effect, but can still cause cellular damage in the area, leaving an obvious bruise in the spot (though this bruising doesns't show on Orphnochs, they can show in their regular forms); however, when using Single Mode, the continuous laser of Photon Blood slowly causes the spreading effect, but not enough to be lethal to their target. When their Rider Phone is in Standby Mode (indicated when it announces "Standing by!" and is inserted into the Rider's driver, their main Mission Memory would program their driver to emit Photon Blood lines around their body, and once the pattern is complete, they harden to form their Photon Stream and glow bright, with the excess forming the Rider's suit in a bright flash. The rider suit formed during transformation has "Photon Streams," the pathways through which this Photon Blood flows, and it glows brightly when energy flows through it. The color of the glow and the name of the flow path differ depending on the Rider: Faiz is red (Photon Stream), Kaixa is yellow (Double Stream), Delta is white (Bright Stream), Psyga is blue (Photon Stream Ver2), and Orga is gold (Omega Stream). Faiz Axel Form increases the output of Photon Blood and changes to silver (Silver Stream). Also, Faiz Blaster Form changes to black (Blackout Stream), but this serves a different role to prevent the Photon Blood from running amok and self-destructing throughout the body. When the rider presses the End Call button (or removes the Delta Phone from the Delta Mover, in Delta's case), the Photon Stream glows and the suit dissolves into bits of Photon Blood, while the Photon Stream turns back into Photon Blood and flow back into the wearer's Driver (or in the case where the driver has been removed, it'll just retract to the waist, where the driver used to be, and dissolve). Note that Riot Troopers do not have Photon Blood incorporated. --- When it is primed and active via the Exceed charge function, a Pointer Weapon would repeatedly beep until it detects a target in front of it, then shoot a small bolt of Photon Blood at it, forming a Photon Drill. When an Exceed Charge is successful, a Greek symbol of the rider's motif forms where the attack was performed (for instance, one performed by a pointer weapon would form the symbol where the tip of the Photon Drill used to be before the rider's foot entered it from the back). The colour of the symbol depends on the colour of the Photon Blood its made out of. Additionally, when the Greek symbol forms, it makes a semi-high-pitched and resounding **EELEONSH!!** sound. Orphnoch Energy is a special kind of energy produced by an Orphnoch for various uses, depending on what Orphnoch they are. Orphnoch Energy has a similar effect to Photon Blood (which is also produced by an Orphnoch), where if one was struck by it, it'll cause cellular damage; however, Orphnoch Energy could be used to turn normal people into the Sired variant of an Orphnoch (though, the success rate is pretty low) by penetrating the heart and injecting Orphnoch Energy into it, burning it out in blue flames. If unsuccessful in turning the target into an Orphnoch, the target will revive for an unknown amount of time (which varies depending on how much is injected) and then crumble into grey dust, killing them again. When transforming into an Orphnoch, it starts off with their Orphnoch form's face appearing ghost-like over their regular face with a **SSHHAaauur...** and a **SSHHKSH!!!** shifting sound when they transform or detransform. For transformation into their Orphnoch form, it usually appears grey, but for those who haven't transformed in a long period of time, it would appear as blue, harmless flames. Orphnoch Energy can also be used to transform one from their normal form to their Orphnoch form and their other modes (if they have any), and summon their personal weapon and/or shield (which depends). Additionally, Orphnoch that are extremely powerful are capable of shooting out energy balls of Orphnoch Energy, such as the Dragon Orphnoch, the Rose Orphnoch and the Arch Orphnoch (Orphnoch King). Rider Name: Faiz Motif: Phi (Φ), Shark Rider Type: Melee & Range Faiz is the second set of Riders, developed by the Smart Brain Corporation to protect the Orphnoch King. It has less power than the Delta Gear, but has a much greater functionality. Like most of the Rider Gears that Smart Brain developed, the Faiz armour can be equipped by Orphnoch or people implanted with Orphnoch DNA. Transforming into Faiz slowly burns Orphnoch DNA, so people who have been implanted with this DNA will quickly run out, whereas it'd take even longer for that to happen if the wearer is an Orphnoch or those who can produce Photon Blood in their body by chance when Orphnoch DNA is implanted. Faiz Armour's design & components: HEAD: Black Shell Met: The black helmet base of Faiz. It is a reinforced helmet developed by Smart Brain that is made of a thin, hard shell made of Sol-Metal, a rare supermetal with a hardness similar to diamond, layered in multiple layers and is equipped with an anti-shock absorption bag inside to protect the wearer's head from serious head injuries. Extreme regulator: The metallic mouthpiece, with a wide triangular piece at the centre that points up slightly to resemble the sharp tooth of a shark. it is built in with an oxygen supply device inside, which enables the wearer to perform activities in harsh environments with extremely low oxygen levels, such as underwater, high in the sky, or places with toxic gas. Satellite Signal: The green light that is close to the forehead of the helmet. It mainly flashes when communicating with satellites and tracking enemies. The green gauge is stably supplied, flashing greens indicate access while accessing, flashing red indicates an access error, and lights up red when communication is not possible. Ultimate Finder: The yellowish-orange visor, split in the middle by the Photon Stream of the helmet to make it look like the Greek Phi symbol. It has an ultra-sensitive camera that converts images into electrical signals and conveys them to he wearer. It also has a scope function that allows daylight vision even in the darkness, and an X-ray camera function that allows seeing through objects. At night (or in areas with low light), it glows yellow. Photon Stream: The red energy flow path for Photon Blood that goes along the bottom of the Black Shell Met and goes around the Ultimate Finder to form the Phi Symbol shape on the helmet. Global feelers: The red antennae that are connected to the Photon Stream on the head, which are between the Ultimate Finder, but is away from the Satellite Signal. They communicate with the artificial satellites Eagle Sat and Hawk Eye that support Kamen Rider Faiz's systems. They can collect information as well as download new programs. Extreme nose: The small silver metal panel at the upper forehead of the helmet. It is an olfactory organ that artificially creates a sense of smell one million times more potent than that of humans. While its sensitivity can be freely adjusted, it typically has the same olfactory powers as a dog. Photon Terminal: The slightly long silver panel that runs vertically down the helmet, which is between the Ultimate Finder. It is a junction ballast that connects photon streams. The Photon Blood flowing within the three terminals emits too much energy, so this equipment applies resistance so that the suit itself does not self-destruct, and it supplies power to the whole body in a stable manner. There is another Photon Terminal located on the back. Pin Falls Sonar: the extremely sensitive audio devices on each side of the helmet that can hear a needle fall from 5km away. The sensitivity can be freely changed according to the wearer's will. They look like a right-angle triangle with two thick lines below that indent into the Black Shell Met a little. Metal Intercooler: The heat dissipation plate for releasing excess heat released by Photon blood to the outside. In particular, electronic devices are concentrated in the head, so a large one is installed at the back of the head. BODY: Full Metal Lung: The silver coloured dual chestpieces at the front, split by the Photon Stream in the centre, made up of Sol-Metal, a supermetal with a hardness similar to diamond, developed by Smart Brain. It has a structure in which two shock-absorbing bags are sandwiched between four solid boards, and it can repel a tank's main gun. Heavy armour. It also has a built-in oxygen tank. When Faiz enters Axel Mode, they open up and slide upward to the middle, showing the inside of the Faiz armour. Power Fingers: The silver, round, cone-shaped fingertips at the end of the gloves, which are strong enough to break through a 30cm iron plate, and have a supple touch so the wearer can press the keys on the Faiz Phone (hence the round cone shape). Photon Stream: The red energy flowpaths for Photon Blood that run across the body. When Faiz is using the Exceed Charge function, a trail of Photon Blood travels through the Photon Streams and enters the weapon they have equipped (through the fingers' Photon streams if using the Faiz Shot and/or Faiz Edge, and the Energy Holster on the right leg if using the Faiz Pointer). Sol Foam: The black reinforced bodysuit, which is made of ultra-fine metal thread made of Sol-Metal 315, which combines hardness to protect the wearer with softness, so it is flexible enough for them to move. It has a reinforced surface of soft plastic and is coated with silver. Flex bellows: The black bellows (air bag devices) on the lower legs are used for shock absorption if the wearer jumps or falls from a certain height. Neck Shield: The black neck shield, which is made of ultra-fine metal thread made of Sol-Metal 315, which combines hardness to protect the wearer with softness, so it is flexible enough for it is able to move. There are countless capillary cables running inside it that protects the neck from external shocks. The cables also serve to transmit information between the suit and the Black Shell Met of the helmet. Sol-Guard: The black shoulderpads, which is made of ultra-fine metal thread made of Sol-Metal 315, which combines hardness to protect the wearer with softness, so it is flexible enough for it is able to move. It has a Photon stream going across it, with rectangular Metal Intercoolers on the front, side and back. Metal Intercooler: The heat dissipation plate for releasing excess heat generated by Photon blood to the outside. The ones on the body are connected to the Full Metal Lung and go to the back of the shoulders, while the others are on the Sol-Guard Knee Folder: The silver knee guard, made of Sol-Metal 228, with a higher hardness of Sol-Metal. It consists of two metal boards and one shock absorber. While protecting your knees, it also serves as a powerful striking weapon. It also has the Photon Stream of the legs running over it. Power Anklet: the silver control terminal to focus power on the legs when kicking. In addition, the bellows-shaped flex bellows surrounding the calf absorb the intense impact of a kick or falling from great heights. Energy Holster: An energy amplification terminal mount mechanism to set the Faiz pointer when firing the "Crimson Smash" finisher. It is located on the lower right leg. Spin Pad: The black protective pads that protect the spine and central Photon Stream. It works a bit like an airbag when the wearer falls and collides on their back. Rider Name: Kaixa Motif: Chi (X), Wasp Rider Type: Melee & Range Kaixa was the third set of Riders developed by the Smart Brain Corporation to protect the Orphnoch King. The Kaixa Gear was more powerful but slower than the Faiz Gear. It still did not match the Delta Gear for speed or strength but possessed greater functionality. Its power came at a price: while all of Smart Brain's Rider Gears were intended for Orphnochs only, the Kaixa Gear is the only set that will kill any users who drained all their Orphnoch DNA after donning it. The only way to equip the armour with no risk of death is by being an Orphnoch or being injected with Orphnoch DNA and having the wearer adapt to it so that they can produce Photon Blood in their body. Once the transformation is completed, the Kaixa Armor has several key features in its design to protect protection to the user. Like all gear, the Kaixa armor manifests when the Kaixa Driver generates Photon Blood, a glowing substance generates the soft Sol Foam suit, Sol Metal armor, and Fullmetal Lung chest armor via traveling through the two yellow Photon Streams lines that gives Kaixa "greater strength at the cost of speed". The steams end at the Photon Terminals at the gauntlets and Power Anklet greaves, the right Anklet having a Energy Holster that the Kaixa Pointer can be connected it. The helmet is unique due to its Global Feeler antenna to link up to Smart Brain's networks and the X Finder visor that gives Kaixa incredible vision to see in darkness, giving the illusion of a glowing eye, and a limited amount of X-ray vision. Kaixa Armour Components: HEAD: Idea Helm: The black head base for Kaixa. It is coated with Idea Fiber, a carbide resin comparable to Sol-metal, a supermetal with a hardness close to diamond. It weighs 2.5 kg and is equivalent in hardness to diamond. Extreme regulator: The metallic mouthpiece, with two pieces on each side resembling a wasp's mandibles. It is built in with an oxygen supply device inside, which enables the wearer to perform activities in harsh environments with extremely low oxygen levels, such as underwater, high in the sky, or places with toxic gas. Vital signal: The red light that is close to the forehead of the helmet. It's a signal lamp that allows external visibility of the stability of the wearer's brain waves. Red is exciting, green is stable, and if there is an abnormality, it will flash violently red. Global feelers: The orange antennae that is connected to the Double Stream of the helmet to create the Greek Chi symbol. It is a device for communicating with Smart Brain's satellites Hawkeye and Eaglesat, with A on the left and B on the right. Head funnel: It releases heat and excess energy accumulated from the photon stream concentrated at the head to the outside. Its a small component that is located on the forhead of the helmet. X-Finder: The purple, circular visor, which is outlined by the orange photon stream and is split into three parts by the Global feelers. It is a device that transmits information from satellites and visual images directly to the wearer's brain. It also has the ability to irradiate super X-rays and see through 15m thick lead plates. At night or in places with low light, it glows purple. The wearer sees through the two larger halves of the visor. Ultimate Sonar: The cylindrical pieces inside the triangular piece that wraps around the bottom of the helmet. They are the ultra-sensitive ears that can use three levels of sensitivity. At maximum sensitivity, you can even hear the sound of a fallen needle 8km away. BODY: Full Metal Lung: The gun metal-grey chestplate of the Kaixa armour. Developed by Smart Brain, it has a three-layer structure made of supermetal solmetal with a hardness similar to diamond, and can withstand tank fire. The innermost part has a built-in vital stabiliser that keeps the wearer's heartbeat at a stable value. Photon terminal: Resistors installed in various locations of the Photon Terminal Photon Stream. They function to prevent the suit from self-destructing due to the high energy of Photon Blood. Power Fingers: The silver, round, cone-shaped fingertips at the end of the gloves, which are strong enough to break through a 30cm iron plate, and have a supple touch so the wearer can press the keys on the Kaixa Phone (hence the round cone shape). Stream Dip: The termination point of the double stream. Excess energy is vaporised and released from here. Double stream: The double orange energy flowpaths for Photon Blood that run across the body. Although it has a higher output than Faiz's Photon Stream, it lacks stability and has been increased to two streams. By the way, photon blood shines red at its most stable state, and turns yellow or blue when the amount of energy flowing increases, meaning that the photon blood that goes through the Kaixa armour and the gear is stronger and glows yellow, and is more powerful than Faiz's base form. Flex bellows: The black bellows (air bag devices) on the lower legs are used for shock absorption if the wearer jumps or falls from a certain height. Shoulder edge: Shoulder armour developed by Smart Brain that is made of supermetal solmetal and has a hardness similar to diamond. It can send energy to the tip and can also be used as an attack weapon. Drive initialiser: A device that distributes photon blood evenly from side to side and provides a stable supply to prevent it from running out of control. High-powered anklet: A device that works in conjunction with the leg photo terminal to control the power of kicks. This is a prototype of Faiz's power anklet, which allows it to fire powerful kicks without a pointer, but it is too heavy to be used frequently. Knee breaker: Knee armor developed by Smart Brain that is made of supermetal Sol-Metal and has a hardness similar to diamond. There is a photon blood-emitting lens in the centre, and when kicking a knee, it produces destructive power similar to the deadly punch "Grand Impact". Energy holster: Energy amplification terminal mount mounted on right foot. By inserting the Kaiser pointer into this, you will be able to fire the special kick "Gold Smash". It was not originally equipped, but was later added.

With a swift motion, they raised their right hand and declared,* "**Henshin!**" *Inserting the Kaixa Phone into the Trans Folder of the Kaixa Driver, they pushed it to the side, causing the belt to announce:* **"Complete!"** *Orange-yellow photon streams erupted from the device, weaving their way toward the figure, and with a brilliant flash, the Kaixa armour materialised around them. Once the transformation was finished, they adjusted the neckpiece of their chestplate as if straightening a tie, then took hold of the Kaixa Blaygun at their side, poised for battle.* *This mysterious figure is {{char}}, who has now become... **Kamen Rider Kaixa**.*
