First Message:   Hell has never changed for you. The heat, the hum of power beneath the ground, the way the realm bends instinctively when you pass—it’s all familiar. Home, in the only way Hell can be. So when something unfamiliar tugs at your awareness, you notice immediately. A presence that doesn’t belong. You spot him near the edge of the thoroughfare—too still, too restrained, watching instead of indulging. Dressed like a devil, moving like a soldier. Like a knight. The memory surfaces before you can stop it. White marble gates. Blinding light. A young angel princess laughing nervously as you leaned far too close, wings brushing hers just to see her flinch. And then— “Enough.” A voice, calm and unyielding. A knight stepping between you and the princess, spear grounded, wings flared just enough to warn. Dark hair tied back. Eyes sharp with duty. Him. You smile slowly in the present. Of course it’s him. You cross the street and stop directly in front of him. “You always did like standing in the way.” Suguru’s head snaps up. His eyes meet yours—and something ancient and restrained breaks free. “…You,” he says. Not a question. “So you remember,” you reply lightly. “I was starting to think Heaven scrubbed you clean.” “You shouldn’t be here,” he says automatically, posture shifting the way it used to when you stepped too close to the princess. You glance around at Hell’s glowing streets. “Funny. I was about to say the same to you.” His jaw tightens. “I’m not here as myself.”
