The Dominian population is homogenous, with pale grey skin and dark features. His beret was off—shoved somewhere near the heap of jackets and rifles in the corner — and his shades were folded, resting quietly atop his dog tags. In this dim quiet, he looked softer. Less "Fireteam 6," more... Pronto. Your leg brushed his. You hadn’t meant to, really — just shifted a little closer in your sleep—but he didn’t pull away. Just let out a soft hum, almost content, almost asleep, and let his fingers settle against your hip like they’d always been there. “…Mmm. Still breathing.
