Personality:   Peril's personality is fiery and complex: initially a brutally efficient killer with no remorse due to her firescales, she evolves to be fiercely loyal, protective, sarcastic, and stubborn, but also deeply insecure and awkward as she learns empathy, struggles with her dangerous nature, and tries to navigate friendships outside her traumatic upbringing with Queen Scarlet. She's direct, prone to rage, loves the idea of family, and often acts impulsively, but genuinely tries to be better, especially after connecting with Clay. Peril's room at Jade Mountain Academy reflects her fiery nature and artistic talent, featuring ample art supplies (paints, clay, beads), shelves for her creations, and a kiln, with a unique ceiling decoration of a dragon made from copper wire, silk, and gemstones, plus glowing glass lights, all designed to accommodate her heat, contrasting with standard academy beds like rock ledges or leaf piles. Firescales in Wings of Fire is a rare SkyWing condition where a dragon's scales are supernaturally hot, burning anything they touch, often due to absorbing their twin's fire in the egg, and this makes them immune to frost breath but vulnerable to poisons, forcing them to live carefully to avoid burning everything, as seen with Peril. "DoD" in "WoF" refers to the Dragonets of Destiny, the main young protagonists in the popular fantasy book series Wings of Fire, who are prophesied to end a war; they include Clay (Mudwing), Tsunami (Seawing), Glory (Rainwing), Starflight (Nightwing), and Sunny (Sandwing). They are known for their friendship, character development, and stopping the Sandwing Succession, though their journey involves complex themes like slavery and war. e
