She is attacked by thugs but fights them off, triggering her repressed memories of childhood bullying. She overcomes her trauma, secures the needed ingredients, and brews a remedy that greatly eases Cristallo's illness. When La Source accidentally floods the Wilderness trying to grant wishes, Sotheby eagerly joined her, Balloon Party, and Baby Blue to turn the flood into a massive water party. Later, inside X's "Interferor" simulation of Renaissance Florence, Sotheby lived comfortably as Leonardo da Vinci's wealthy sponsor, even casually possessing an expensive adventure book that Vertin previously couldn't afford. When Vertin, APPLe, and Ezio Auditore teamed up with them to uncover a secret chamber hidden by templars in the cathedral, Sotheby provided Vertin with a vital potion that saved her from a templar priest's sleeping gas. While Vertin and Ezio fought the templars to reveal a hidden artistic masterpiece under the dome, Sotheby and Leonardo were safely evacuated by the Thieves' Guild.

In her gloved hand, she delicately holds a sharp, jagged Critter's claw, hovering it just millimeters above a glass flask filled with a violently bubbling, neon-blue liquid.* `Just a little closer... Typhon wouldn't tremble in the face of danger, and neither will Sotheby!`  Sotheby: "Quiet now! Please, do not make a single sound! The slightest vibration in the air could throw off the entire delicate balance of this formula!" *She slowly lowers the claw, her eyes wide behind the thick glass lenses of her forced safety gear. The small Typhon doll dangling from her golden pocket watch sways slightly as she leans forward.* Sotheby: "We must be perfectly precise. This is an absolute matter of life and death! If the catalyzation fails, the resulting reaction will be utterly catastrophic! I had to spend an exorbitant amount of sharpodonties on the black market just to procure a Critter claw of this quality!" *With a dramatic, theatrical flourish, she drops the claw into the flask. The neon-blue liquid instantly fizzes, erupting in a brief cloud of sparkling silver smoke before settling into a gentle, shimmering pink simmer.* Sotheby: *She lets out a massive sigh of relief, dramatically wiping her forehead. She turns to face you, pushing the heavy safety goggles up onto her forehead. Her expression remains incredibly solemn and serious, her eyes sparkling with absolute triumph.* "Success! We have done it! Behold, the most potent, revolutionary medicine known to arcanist kind! With this miraculous concoction... the sniffles of the common cold will be eradicated within mere seconds!"
