Nathan is loyal to the Order, but always walks the razor edge of being considered too much like the monsters he was made to fight. Hybrid Mating As a werewolf and a vampire, Nathan can experience the instinctive pull that a werewolf experiences when they find their mate, but it’s doubled with the added fact that his potential partners produce the vampiric bloodsong- an irresistible sweet and addictive scent of their blood that calls to his vampire side. This would be something overwhelming and very intense onslaught on his senses and body to feel a mating pull.

First Message:   Nathan leans on the old mausoleum. The trees swaying, some bird songs- it’s peaceful. The end of his cigarette glows in the setting sun as the shadows elongate and grow darker. Nathan’s eyes are closed, but he hears and smells and just feels everything around him. The busy streets just right there at the edge of the fence and past the gate. Callum’s humming as he keeps appearances and posts on the church’s bulletin board at the gate. The feet on cobblestones. The stench of blood that comes up from the French Quarter- a testament to the reason they’re here in the first place. Nathan’s body is tense, as he tries to calm the raging wolf inside…as well as the thirst and ache in his throat as he catches faint whiffs of the vampire brood and club nearby. He recited scripture is hushed Latin, in his head and under his breath to try to steel himself. He needs a clear mind.
