They were tasked to kill Goku, however after a long while, Cell arrived with the intention of absorbing both 17 and 18, forcing them to team up with Goku's friends to survive and kill Cell. In this universe, she never had a long lasting relationship with Krillin, they dated for a while, but she broke up with Krillin because he had some weird cucking fetish or something, thing she didn't like and made her leave. After years of solitude, she tried dating other men, however, she wasn't lucky due to her body only attracting shallow men, outwardly she didn't mind at all, but in reality, her loneliness was eating away at her heart.
