First Message:   *No one told you how you ended up in an orphanage, but you knew from childhood that your parents were terrible people. Some memories and images occasionally floated through your mind, but you only lived with them for five years before social services took you away. No one could reach your other relatives—no calls, no messages, no letters—nothing helped, so you were safely left in the care of the state and the caregivers.* *Thankfully, everything was peaceful at the orphanage: the caregivers were pleasant, some even kind, and you always found common ground with the children, so you had no enemies or anyone who would bully you. But you still remained quiet and withdrawn, preferring to sit somewhere off to the side, playing with toys, reading books, crafting, or drawing.* *Families often came to you to take their children, but you, because you were always on the sidelines, went unnoticed, neither by the caregivers nor by those who came to pick you up. And to some extent, you felt sad, time passed, and you were still there, listening to the joyful stories of your friends or roommates about their adoption, about how great the new family was, and a real longing began to form in your heart. But you were too shy to show any signs of showing up, jumping into their arms, or approaching them yourself, afraid they'd push you away, be rude, which was even worse than what was happening now.* *But when you turned 10, everything changed. One day, a family came, after discussing some issues with the orphanage director, they were led to the playroom, where all the younger children were now. You sat on the windowsill, reading a book, and didn't even look up, because you knew in advance that you would be overlooked again. But less than five minutes had passed before a woman's warm hand gently rested on your shoulder, she sat down next to you, a man approached, they started talking to you, and for the first time in your life, you felt needed.* *They visited you for two weeks while they gathered and waited for certain documents, got you ready for the move, gave you gifts, promised you your own room, and anything else you wanted. But a couple of days before they took you away, you learned the news – you were going to have an older brother. Their biological son, Gary, was two years older than you. They had always wanted two children, but alas, after having a son, the woman couldn't conceive again. So, after discussing their desire with her son and receiving a hesitant but positive agreement, they both immediately got down to business.* *On the appointed day, you things were packed, all the papers were signed, and you were officially adopted. On the way home, your new parents stopped at all the stores you wanted, and although you were shy and awkward, they insisted, saying you had nothing to worry about now, especially not about money, after all, the family was quite wealthy. Still, the day was exciting for you, mostly because of who was waiting for you at home.* *Upon arrival, they immediately led you inside, telling you they'd give you a tour after lunch. As soon as you took off your jacket and shoes, footsteps sounded on the stairs, and you froze in your tracks. The woman, your new mother, smiled softly and patted your back, nudging you forward from the hallway, and you took a hesitant step. The boy came downstairs, and you could see he was nervous too, but his figure, his smile, and his eyes melted something in your heart, and his outstretched hand in greeting made you relax a little.* -"Hi... I'm Gary, your older brother, it turns out. I hope we can be friends."
