Total Drama Island is reimagined as such; the contestants have been left to perish by a mentally insane escaped convict by Chris and Chef Hatchet. Most of the execution methods performed by the murderer are demeaning, and/or gory; and because methods are rarely reused, they tend to become ever more baroque as “Island of the Slaughtered” progresses. While all of the contestants are fighting for their survival, if a contestant is kidnapped during the day or night over a variety of circumstances, they will often convey and accept their uncertain fate. Camp Wawanakwa also poses heavy dangers to the campers, and a handful of them are likely to die from “Natural causes” surrounding the island. Villainous contestants, like Heather and Justin, are scared individuals and are just trying to survive so they can get ahead. Contestants will have an extra day to strategise, plan, and survive before being kidnapped and targeted by the escaped convict. Two cabins are located in the main camp area, one for each team. The only way onto the island is by boat or plane. The forest surrounding the campgrounds is home to dangerous animals on the show, such as squirrels, crows, grizzly bears, and the Sasquatch. Campers despise the campgrounds because the cabins are infested with roaches, the leftover food is disgusting, and the bathrooms are revolting. To get the campers to even arrive on the show, Chris had lied to them by saying it was a five-star resort in the brochure. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Time Schedules: When the campers arrived at Camp Wawnakwa, the time was 8:30 AM, 2 hours before Ezekiel’s beheading by the escaped convict. Both cabins have a “Power Lock” system that would automatically turn on when the time hit midnight. If you are out and about at midnight and get locked out, you will have to sleep outside in the Boat House until 8:30 AM. The time to wait between deaths is 24 consecutive hours. After Ezekiel’s beheading, the contestants are allowed to have a day where there aren't any deaths present so they can strategise and survive. During the 24-hour waiting session, contestants can do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want on the island. During the 24-hour waiting period in between challenges, contestants will have to be cautious or else they might be kidnapped earlier than expected. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Rules: Twenty-three campers originally signed up to spend 32 consecutive days at a summer camp, where they had to participate in challenges. But because of the escaped convict, they were forced to spend that time trying to survive in the wilderness with no available food, water, or safe shelter. Once an execution has been performed on a kidnapped contestant, it must be unique and can't be repeated for the next contestant. If a camper dies during the waiting period, the escaped convict will kidnap a contestant. Meaning, the contestants could potentially lose two members if they aren't cautious about their decisions while on the island. The camper who is kidnapped will be taken to various areas throughout Camp Wawanakwa, where they will get a few minutes to pray before dying. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Luggers Lodge & Gophers Gulag Interior: The interior smells like old cheese and labour. The beds are made of rough, unstained wood, with thin, worn mattresses that looked like they’d seen better days. There are six bunk beds lined up against the walls of the cabin. The windows are slightly deteriorated, and there is a red and yellow circular carpet spread across a creaky wooden floor. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Confessional Booth: There is a Confession Booth where you can talk to the non-functioning camera anyone you don't like, do like, anything you want. The Confession Booth is located to the west of the campgrounds, next to the Dock of Shame or just the “Dock” if you aren't being drowned to death. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Confessional Booth Interior: Decrepit, disgusting, putrid, and nauseating. This quickly becomes apparent as soon as someone lays their eyes on the moss-green outhouse. It reeks of dilapidated cheese, dead animals, and the occasional scent of clogged-up waste from another contestant because of the faulty pipes. The non-functioning camera they are going to use to pretend to chat with the “outside world” is located in front of the toilet, plastered onto the wall. The Confessional Booth is the only toilet in the Campgrounds. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Campfire Pit: The campfire pit in Total Drama Island is a dome-shaped area enclosed by tall rocks, with a campfire at the centre and a lectern for Chris McLean. The campfire pit is located on a hill near the main camp area. The entrance is made of wood, and there are twelve tree stumps arranged slightly further up from the campfire. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Boney Island: Boney Island is located across Lake Wawanakwa from Camp Wawanakwa. A notable feature on the island is a massive cliff in the shape of a human skull. It is home to the Woolly Beavers and Stymphalian Canadian Geese. This island is known to hold species that are extinct in other parts of the world due to its remote location. Its ominous appearance and supposedly haunted status also ensure that nobody goes there to disturb its contents. If someone takes anything from the island, "they will be cursed forever." However, if they choose not to listen to the warning and take the tiki idol from the island, three contestants will die in various unlucky “Natural Events”. When they are finally executed by their fellow teammate, the endless curse disappears, and the contestants will stop mysteriously dying. —————————————————————————————————————————————— Main Lodge: The Main Lodge is the cabin where meals are served at Camp Wawanakwa by Chef Hatchet in Total Drama Island. There are major events in the Main Lodge during Total Drama Island like the campers eating and discussing, and the occasional kidnapping. The interior of the first room in the main lodge consists of two long tables and twenty-two stumps that serve as seats for the campers. The East and West tables are 12 ft away from each other on either side of the room, to ensure safe space. Across from the tables is a window that looks into the kitchen where the campers take their trays to receive their meals from Chef, who would usually stand behind the counter before he abandoned the contestants. To the right of the window is a saloon swing door, leading to the kitchen. At the far end of the cabin is a fireplace with mounted deer antlers above it and the kitchen consists of sinks, an oven, and a walk-in freezer.
