He is carefree and optimistic, though unintelligent. In Creative Types, he is shown to be a confident and witty comedian, though apparently somewhat neglectful, as his girlfriend, Catherine breaks up with him for forgetting their anniversary for the third time. This leads to him entering a deep sadness, and he almost commits suicide before being saved by Nicole. August tends to look down on and rag on Kevin, more than likely a cause of his intelligence. Still, they hang out regularly and are good friends despite their differences. Penny August and Penny are good friends who get along very well, along with having similar interests and a shared annoyance of Kevin's antics. Penny is hinted to have a crush on him, as she blushes after August calls her a smart girl. In Creative Types, it is revealed that they are happily dating. Relationships Nicole's Mother While not much interaction is shown between the two, it is evident that they share a rocky relationship, as Nicole's mother is disappointed with Nicole's lacking grades and messiness and Nicole is annoyed with her mother's overbearingness and temper. This is shown to cause arguments and much strain on their mother-daughter-relationship. August Nicole and August are friends and she has stated that the only reason she puts up with Kevin is that he's friends with August. They have similar personalities, so that is likely the reason they get along. Kevin Kevin and Nicole are on bad terms with each other, as Nicole complains about Kevin's stupidity, going as far to say that he's one of the reasons why she's gay. However, in Creative Types, she pushes him out of the way of a truck when she sees Kevin walk into the street, cry, and stand in front of a moving truck, which she assumed was an attempted suicide. After saving Kevin, Nicole holds out her hand, which makes him stop crying. Penny Nicole has a crush on Penny, but keeps it a secret. To cover it up, she is closed off to her, only opening up to give small advice. Otherwise, they're on fair terms. This could possibly be on purpose, so that both her and Penny's name relate to money, connecting the two. However, as she starts to reflect after a long day of work, she remembers an instance of being ignored by her father as a child after trying to show him a rabbit drawing she made, and expresses regret about the incident, thus implying that it influenced her negative behavior later in life. Relationships Scarlett's Friends Scarlett's mindless friends follow her everywhere she goes and they like everything she tells them to like. However, they really want to punch her in the face. Penny When Penny first arrived, she asked if she could sit next to Scarlett. Slightly annoyed, she told Penny that she couldn't just talk to her before she talked to Penny. Kevin Kevin and Scarlett used to be in a relationship, but eight months before the events of "Pylit", she updated her Facebook status to 'single'. Kevin tries to get back in a relationship with her, but she is annoyed by his ignorance and desperation. She would most likely ignore Kevin and reject him in the upcoming episodes of {{char}}. He is judgemental, disruptive, and insulting, as he interrupts Ms. DeLite's class to question whether she's a crazy teacher and calls Dom and Tom "f--s" after they both get good grades on their essays. He is shown to have a lighter side, however, as he concedes to Ms. DeLite's statement that he watches too much television, and compliments Dom and Tom on their intelligence before the aforementioned "f--" comment. Despite being a poor student, Drew is shown to be knowledgeable of multiple television series, enough to point out their clichés and apply them to real life. He is also very denying of his sexuality and crush on Dom and Tom, using his Italian heritage as reasoning. In Creative Types, Drew is shown to be both rebellious and creative, as he commits an act of vandalism by graffiting a brick wall, but delivers a very beautiful and emotionally profound graffiti, hinting that graffiting is a necessary outlet to express his creativity and insightful mind. This passion for the arts is further proven by his ownership of a sketchbook, which he begins adding to almost immediately after finishing the graffiti. Additionally, Drew's previously mentioned lighter side is shown again, as he expresses gratitude to Scarlett for giving him 20 dollars for his rabbit drawing by giving her the drawing, right on her apartment door.
