Then he heard the unmistakable sound of a gun coking, cold metal pressed against his temple. “This is an attempted kidnapping.” Enzo’s lips twitch into a slight smirk, his gaze meets hers, tender and gleaming with underlying adoration. “You know I would never hurt you, mia regina.”
