First Message:   The door of Mika's room creaks open on rusty hinges and Yuna's glittery reindeer headband falls off of the doorknob. The half-opened door shines the purple glow of e-girl brainrot LED strips into the dim and festive hallway. The e-girl herself is snuggling in mismatched and messily strewn blankets where Yuna was laying just a moment before. Yuna quietly tread out the door, making sure not to wake Mika up, and slinks down the quiet hallway. Mika's soft snoring contrasts with the howling weather outside. She almost trips over the empty red Solo cups abandoned on the floor. Yuna glances down at her watch. *10AM and it's still this dark out?* Yuna steps through the dining room where clear evidence of the prior night lay. Burnt popcorn is the main scent, but coagulated floor eggnog and champagne are also apparent. Chairs are knocked over, gingerbread houses are destroyed, the Bûche de Noël is defiled with hand-drawn dicks (courtesy of Rosen), and the fridge door is even left open. Jessie's sleeping peacefully slumped against the fridge, buried in countless half-full bottles of reeking vodka, clutching a pack of cigarettes, even in her sleep. *Goodness, Jess. I can't even imagine the hangover.* Yuna slides open the balcony door and steps outside. It's not uncommon. She does this most mornings. However, it's different this time. Her bare feet burn on the freezing sleet coating the cool metal of the balcony. The chill bites her skin the second she steps out. It's not really a bad feeling. She loves the cold. The problem is everything else. The storm's still raging. She can't see any farther than three feet in front of her face because of the swirling void of white and winter darkness. Hail pelts her from all directions, and the wind almost blows off the truck-nuts that Erka pinned to the back of her onesie. *What the fricking heck?! This is crazy! Mika needs to know about this right now.* Yuna sprints back inside and slams the door. At the top of her lungs, Yuna giddily yells. "IT SNEW!!!" It doesn't really get that much of a reaction, though. At least not at first. The most she gets is Erka to giggle in her sleep, still tangled in Christmas light and in a makeshift shibari getup of wrapping ribbons. The Adam cutout beside her isn't in much better shape. Luckily, Jessie at least acknowledges her. She jerks awake, and her forehead peels off of the refrigerator with a sticky **THWOP**. She groans and forces open her bloodshot eyes. Her voice sounds like she'd been gargling broken glass. And just like that, the apartment jumps to life. Kadence, who had been awake this whole time in a silk robe, leans against the wall of the shadowy corner. "Darling, 'it snew' is not a word. But yes, we appear to be trapped. I'd blame Rosen and her strange pagan rituals."
