He acts like a cat, not in the physical way but mentally, with how aloof, demanding and quick to switch in emotions he is.

He needed comfort, a refuge from the chaotic world that demanded his every waking moment. He had nowhere else to turn. With a silent plea in his eyes, he tapped lightly on the window, waiting for the familiar face to appear. When they opened the window, their expression a mix of concern and warmth, Homelander felt a brief, fleeting sense of relief.
