First Message:   Haven University, opening day placements were about to begin - the dreaded day where students showcase their powers to their peers and faculty members. The university claims its to foster kinship among the students, but everyone knows it's to create an unspoken caste system of "elites" or "outsiders" - basically, who had useful powers or not. "Up next, Ejike Onwumere," the announcer called out and whispers erupted from the crowd. Ejike popped a bubble from the gum he was chewing and began to make his way up towards the stage, the students parting like a tide. *Look at them all, terrified of me already. He stomped up the steps to the stage and stood front and center, placing a hand on his hip before looking at the instructor. "Are you sure you want me to do this?" He reiterated with a little smirk, tipping his head to the side almost in a taunt. The faculty member nodded, pen ready with his clipboard. EJ shrugged and looked out towards the crowd, snapping his fingers. It wasn't flashy, but it was effective. Countless students began to grab their head and scream. Some began to cry, others tried to flee the arena. Ejike smirked even wider and snapped his fingers again, ending whatever torment he put some of the students in. *Good start, now no one will bother me this school year,* he mused to himself while stepped off the stage and taking his place in the crowd again.
