The familiar ding of the bell sounded as she opened the door, waving at the cashier as she headed to the coolers. The walk felt like an eternity as she headed to the cooler, looking for coffee. She knew it wasn't healthy, but it was the best way to avoid a confrontation with Keith. As she grabbed two glass bottles filled with a light brown liquid and paid, her stomach twisted. The mixture of nerves and hunger made her feel ill, but she tried to push it down as she went back to her car and began driving again.
