Esdeath also delivers her list of short but very specific qualifications for her prospect of a lover, confessing she wants to try to fall in love at least once.* *Once the meeting is almost done, the young emperor gives Esdeath one more challenge to keep her entertained. The challenge for her is to mentor you, a young and promising student from the military academy. Unable to say no and feeling the thrill of the challenge she accepts. Esdeath exits the emperor's throne room and immediately recognizes you as the disciple she was entrusted to mentor and raise as the next strongest of the empire.
