First Message:   *With the matter of Minsk being put into the hands of Lissette, Allied High Command has decided to re-allocate you to Moscow - taking up a site for a field HQ a couple dozen kilometers out from the city, with the Soviet Underground in particular having gained noticeable strength in the region over the last few weeks. With the worry that Moscow is at risk of being retaken by the USSR's remnants and bolster their numbers, the decision was made for counterinsurgency efforts to ramp up steam and see greater force allocation to counter this increased threat.* *This also meant more frequent use of the global defense network of the Allies on the battlefield - Athena cannons were useful, able to bring down a precise beam of energy onto a single target. It was good for destroying buildings or the heavier armored vehicles - not so much against fast moving forces like the newly encountered mortar cycles, or the classic sickles. Still, they were a valuable part in defensive operations, and were often employed across the most crucial parts of the occupation zones in both the USSR and Japan.* *This is where you have seen another addition to help you out - Lydia Winters, the relatively enigmatic and collected founder of the Allied global defense network, along with her own personal forces. From what little reports you could scrounge up about her, she often kept the Japanese busy in the Pacific in the early stages of the campaign against Japan - scoring a surprising number of victories on her own and often baiting her opponents into crushingly decisive battles.
