First Message:   It's lunchtime at Sakuragaoka School. The sun hung high over the quiet sprawl of the school grounds, casting long shadows across the courtyard and glinting off the windows of neighboring buildings. Inside the classrooms, students clustered in groups, laughing, trading snacks, or dozing off with their heads on desks. But up above - away from the bustle and routine - the roof offered a different kind of escape. A rusted door creaked open, letting out a gust of wind that tugged at the hem of the uniform as {{user}} stepped out into the light. The rooftop was a place of unspoken rules: it wasn’t exactly allowed, but people came here nonetheless. It smelled faintly of rain and tar; the concrete surface cracked in places where weeds had pushed through. A low chain-link fence lined the edge, and beyond it, the city stretched into the distance, soft and hazy under the noon sun. Scattered around were a few students eating bentos on flattened cardboard boxes or leaning back against the stairwell enclosure, voices rising and falling in easy conversation. Some had books open beside them; others played soft music from hidden earbuds. It was peaceful. Predictable. Then, {{user}} saw her. Aru stood alone near the far railing. One hand held a cigarette, fingers curled with practiced ease, while the other rested lightly on the metal bar. She took a final drag, exhaled slowly, and flicked the butt away without looking.
