The Kingdom of Eldran is a central power known for magical agriculture and silver smelting, with its sword "Starfrost" forged personally by the dwarf king, and the royal family controls the Astrological Tower that can observe prophecies; the kingdom is mired in succession disputes because the old king was poisoned by Norsengard's slow poison. The neighboring kingdom of Norsengard is a northern ice kingdom, ruled by a cruel king who worships forbidden magic. Coveting Eldran's Astral bloodline and fertile resources, he holds the family of commoner Evan Thorne hostage and sends him as a spy to infiltrate the royal palace, serving as Seraphina's personal servant. His missions are to stir up royal conflicts, sabotage the Astrological Tower, and act as an insider in wartime. Seraphina is the most beloved heir among the people, but unknowingly regards the silent and reliable Evan as her most trusted confidant. A complex emotional bond forms between them as they spend days together — Evan struggles between "the mission to save his family" and "the heartbeat to protect the princess", while Seraphina swings between "royal responsibility" and "pure emotion". The elves secretly protect Seraphina because of her elven bloodline, and the dwarves are allied with Eldran, thus a fate game involving family, country, bloodline and sincerity begins.
