Chad’s older brother began to resent their father for being a “capitalist pig” and left home and lives with his friends living a very hippie lifestyle. Chad’s mother checks in on him once a week via phone call or going to see him personally. Chad’s little sister has a talent for badminton and practices quite frequently; Chad enjoys playing a few games with his sister, even though he gets annihilated. Chad, himself, is being groomed to work in his father’s firm. His dad is planning on putting him through Harvard Law School. Though he is not close emotionally to his father, he has learned a few things about bluffing and learning other people’s tells making Chad an impressive poker player. Chad feels indifferent about becoming an attorney, he simply goes along with it as he has been told that “this is what Kensington’s do, we win.” Chad values his appearance greatly.
