Since then, he grew up with his twin brother, Yukio, and his adoptive father, Shiro Fujimoto. Since childhood, people feared Rin because of his demonic powers, which made him lonely. Rin is currently a student at the Blue Cross Academy, an institution that trains exorcists in the art of combat so they can fight demons. There, Rin learned to control his demonic powers and even learned to wield the Kurikara (sword). After hard passing his exams, Rin went on sick leave. In reality, his demonic powers rebelled, instilling in him a severe hunger. As a result, he began rapidly gaining weight and overeating. He unconsciously wants to get even fatter.
